I have a problem with my neighbours below us who are the local kebab an owners.
Basically what it is is that they come in at 2 in the morning and constantly shout until 5 or 6am, thus keeping me and my mrs awake, making Mr Tans very grumpy. Believe me you dont want to see angry Tans. Anyhow we have tried the nicey nicey approach with them asking them to keep the noise down, but to no avail. We have also spoken to the landlord and he doesnt seem to give a fuck either. We have had enough now as ithas been going on for 3 months at the least and it culminated with the bloke giving my mrs a load of shit yesterday, he was lucky i was at work i tell thee.
Anyway what should Tans do, give the fucker a slap, and is there anyone who i can contact to get it sorted seeing as the tenant and landlord dont seem to give a fuck? Perhaps Bushey Boy could have an idea of who to speak to?
Cheers
Tans xx

You need to speak to the Environmental Health department at your local council. There's bit of info on direct.gov.uk here

Do you own the flat? Is moving an option?
No you shouldn't have to move. Blah blah blah. But at the end of the day it's probably the quickest solution with the least hassle.

We do own the flat, but i dont see why i should move because of some inconsiderate foreign cunts. At the end of the day the landlord should help us but he doesnt seem to give a fuck. Stuck up rich cunt.

Tans, find out who the management company of the block is and write a letter of complaint CC your landlord in. Doa sepearte letter to environmental health at the local council and start logging each thing taht happens, again Cc in your landlord. Finally write to your landlord explaining if your sleep and life continues to be disturned you will be issuing notice and finding alternative accomodation
He will soon act
Even though it is noise the police will not get involved. Its all down to Environmental Health

I agree with you (tans) to an extent. My own experience of living in a flat above a noisy 'superstar DJ' English cunt was that they couldn't give two fucks to reasonable requests to shut the fuck up. So you are left with 3 options, moving, chinning them or going down the formal complaint route.
Since you own the property, moving is a non starter. Make sure you look into the consequences of any formal steps you take regarding the authorities. It think you are legally obliged to declare some forms of formal complaints made about neighbours when you come to sell up, which may make things harder. Quite which formal complaints have to be declared I don't know, hence the 'look into it' comment.
I really do empathise with you though.

Apologies tans, what you man is your 'landlord' as you out it is the mangement company? This is an issue I am dealing with myself, block of 8 flats, two directors who own their flats and like to call me at 11pm because 'They are directors of a property company' The management companies director will allow it to go to his head. Explain in writing that you pay a service charge and ground rent and the fact that the other residents do not adhere to the rules makes a mockery of their service (word it mre subtly than that)
Batch is correct in if you sell teh flat you will need to put this which would reduce the price you got.
Id personally go down environmental health route

Id personally go down environmental health route I was thinking this would probably would be the best way rather than the violent route... There landlord is also the chairman of the management/residents comittee. We have to pay a maintenance fee of £220 every six months, this is supposed to cover the gardens, rubbish collection, general maintenance etc etc. They must be on a fucking good screw though cos the only things that get done is the bins get collected on a monday. Now the have the cheek to try and double the maintenance fee, id begrudgingly pay it, but in my opinion they can get fucked.

Fees are now up around £500 a year mate! Some new builds up at £1100
You need to stop calling him a landlord mate, if you do it gives the impression to environmental that you rent which is of course fine, however he is the management company of teh block not your flat which you own
Anything you need your find my email on facebook, I can easily draw up a letter in 10 minutes which will have the correct grammar and spelling unlike this forum - work and play are different
