I find it hard to comprehend that people make homemade soup.You can buy it for next to nothing why bother making it? Its not even as if it fills you up.

Making soups something I've never tried. I might try and come up with my own death soup.

My mum makes soup and in the winter it's lovely to warm you up.

Has to be served with hot buttered bread though.

I think the original idea of soup was to avoid throwing away left overs, but I do agree it seems to be a lot of effort involved

There's no law against it. Plus you can make a huge batch and freeze it. Yes its effort, but often worth it.

I don't care as it my missus who puts the effort in, the only effort involved from me is lifting spoon from bowl to mouth  Wink Oh, and clearing up the debris  Sad

It's a pain to make but the taste is much better and you know what's gone into it - I only do it for a special occasion
