He's had a competitive (ish) car for at least two seasons, 2005 and to a lesser degree 2006. Its easy to forget he actually scored the highest number of points in the tail end of the championship last year following his win in Hungary. Shame Honda had such a poor start. No doubt he has the ability, but frankly the car hasn't been up to snuff this year.

Dull race, McLaren 1-2, good drive by Hamilton though to pick off Raikkonen in the final stages. At best its a 3 horse race now, Massa is out of it (and one could argue Raikkonen is too).

Hamilton did well to keep 2nd from the start - dealt with Massa well and also did well to overtake, (yes overtake) Raikkonen to retain 2nd.
