Lady said this in a different thread about Aljofree being captain but Ady Williams is club captain. What does this mean exactly?  :?

I think it basically means that PS does not expect Ady to play too many games this season!!  Didn't see that one coming though, I thought he would stick with Vincent.

I think a club captain looks after the players interests and is the link between manager  / board and players.

Team captain is just there to bark orders on the pitch and is the one that is most vocal on the pitch (and who decides what end we kick towards first   ) from what I saw of Hasney at Supermaine & Ciren he is very vocal and makes sure he is heard and the players listen.

If I remember rightly we last had this setup a few years ago when I think it was Gurney that was team captain and Reeves was club captain, I stand to be corrected though

It was last season. Ady was captain, Robbo vice-captain and Gurns club captain.
