other recent purchases that i am enjoying include "mirrored" by battles and "person pitch" by panda bear.
i'll get grinderman and the new album by the cinematic orchestra when i get paid next.
i appreciate that i'm probably talking to myself here.
ps. editors sound like a covers band covering interpol doing a joy division cover, badly. My old man brought over the CD's by battles and Cinamatic Orchestra and although different to what I normally buy, was decent enough in a quiet laid back type way! |

The new Mark Ronson album is very good, Calvin Harris album is superb, probably album of the year - get your money on him to win the mercury music prize now, although High Contrast's album out in a couple of months might beat him. Maximo Park's new album is a lot better than their first, arctic monkeys seems ok. The Twang have some good songs and Biffy Clyro are decent, saw them live last year and they were good.

Tempted by Calvin Harris. Got Maximo Park which is very good. To be honest my favourite album this year is probably Bloc Party. Have Pigeon Detectives, Biffy Clyro, Mumm-ra, The Cribs, Manics and The Twang on the way. |

Crouch is a legend obv and his record speaks for itself, just as I predicted. Second top scorer in the champions league this year tells you all you need to know. And you're posts have been so fucking dull for about the last two years, it's a shame really, they used to be worth reading. |
