After playing football last week I noticed my big toenail hurt a lot and it's now gone black.
Anyone ever lost one ? Am I supposed to let it drop off or do I take the pliers to it ? How long will it take to grow back ?
Any advice appreciated. Except Yeovil. Oh and DMR.

I had a black toe nail once, it was black for ages, and I did nothing, until I decided to start picking at it out of sheer boredom, and it started to break off like a smarties shell. There was another nail growing underneath. So my advice, is leave it a few weeks, start picking at it and voila

Yes ok. I prefer the gurt big toed ones though, they're tastier. Just saves buying a pair of nails scissors.

Any advice appreciated. Except Yeovil. Oh and DMR. Think you're supposed to leave them. I had a brick dropped on one of mine when I was 5 or 6, A&E said to leave it. It came off in a swimming pool several weeks later, I've always wondered where it ended up...I hope somebody swallowed it.
