I saw the Human  League sometime in the late 70's,  they were on a bill with other up and coming bands like Joy Division......this was before they went completely poppy and got the girlies in.....it was a bit strange.....they had these wooden frame things with the keyboards in and just stood in them turning out the sounds....I suppose it was a bit of a nod in the direction of Kraftwerk.....and the whole Krautrock thing....treid to get my head around Can...with no discernible success, though Faust were more accesible.

I saw kraftwerk in Hanover doing a come back type gig. They still sporting all black attire and brylcream hair. I thought seeing them live was going to be excellent was it bollox. Human league would of been ace to see but only got to see the likes of

aztec camera
kajagoogoo
nick kershaw
madness
