yeah but I seem to remember Sturrock himself saying he expected that clause to be included

That's fair enough - I can only think it was a deal breaker then!?!

Still, we know how to deal with him.

Its only Monkhouse FFS, he was decent but its not like he is someone to be really feared.

It just means that we know we have to score at least two goals against the Monkey Boys as Monkhouse will score for them - FACT!

The amount of luck we had in the reverse fixture would probably mean they'll be well up for it.

But like I said - Monky will probably be injured by that point anyway!

Ridiculous not to put the cant play against us clause in there ... who negotiates transfer?? hasnt got a bloody clue whoever it is! Thats just basic !

Back-in-the-day we didn't have these clauses (and that wasn't that long ago) - It shows fear and Sturrock isn't that kind of manager. He will tell Zaaboub to go out and show why he's been brought in to replace Monky and will hopefully make him look totally inferior.

It's done now so there's no point bemoaning it. He's due an injury anyway  Cheesy

Agreed...Im with you on this one.
