nobody's done it yet.

Phil Smith 7 faultless for the goal as he was fouled. Excellent kicking/distribution, a few of his long kicks set up attacks. Now that's direct.
Jack Smith 8 I'm increasingly impressed with him every week, a cool head under pressure, solid defensively and gets forward to excellent effect.
Ady Williams 7 Back where we need him most - on the pitch. Won countless headers and kept Ifil in check. I loved it when he went apeshit at the ref Cheesy
Jerel Ifil 7 Having Ady alongside him again improved his performance greatly, he loves making tackles.
Andy Nicholas 8 Vastly better than Vincent, much the same as Smith - cool and composed but dangerous as well.
Ricky Shakes 7 Improved on recent weeks but still lacks the end product, linked up well with Roberts on a few occassions. Still can't dance.
Paul Evans 7 Less effective than I'm accustomed to from him but won tackles, used the ball intelligently and anchored the midfield. His missus is quite fit too.
Curtis Weston 9 Sublime. Cross-field passes, switching the play, through balls to the strikers, wins tackles...I could go on.
Aaron Brown Did well before he went off, won't rate him as he only played half an hour.
Royce Brownlie 7 A little greedy and lacked sharpness but his hold-up play was excellent and he acted as a great link between the midfield and Roberts.
Christian Roberts 8 Anonymous for large parts of the game then crops up to tuck away a couple of goals - can't complain really. Worked hard when he was interested.

Sofiane Zaaboub 7 Lacking match fitness and it tells but looks to have a good cross on him and likes a tackle as wel.
Lukas Jutkiewicz Nice cameo.

Phil Smith - 7 - PLayed well. Made some important stops and was very decisive. Maybe a couple of occassions where he was too hasty.

Jack Smith - 8 - Solid defensively and got stuck in when needed, a couple of careless challenges but that goes with the territory. Allowed Shakes to get forward.

Ady Williams - 7 - A solid display and calming influence in centre of the defense. Need I say more.

Jerel Ifil - 7 - Worked hard and his pace got us out of trouble a few times. Still thinks his name is Jerel Ferdinand though.

Andy Nicholas - 7 - Better than Vincent and a good performance. But not nearly as good as Smith on the right and so only 7.

Ricky Shakes - 6 - Seemed to cause the defense problems without being able to cross the ball. Missed a sitter and didn't perform the pre-match Haka he is obliged to do now.

Paul Evans - 7 - Did well in the gap between the defense and attack but still nowhere as near as he could be.

Curtis Weston - 9 - MOTM. Read the game well, caused no end of problems with his running yet was still unselfish enough to offload the ball where appropriate. More of the same please Curtis.

Aaron Brown - 7 - Rating him on what I saw before he went off. Was a bit patchy in places but did enough to show me that he's good enough to play on the left. Made some important defensive headers from corners too.

Royce Brownlie - 7 - Whover said he couldn't hold up/run with/pass the ball was wrong. Bar a couple of times this was all spot on. Really helped Roberts in the second half especially. Should have got a couple of efforts on target though.

Christian Roberts - 8 - Roberts exploited the space wherver he could find it and after a rather uncommitted first half display finally decided to wake up and play well. He's there to score goals though and that's what he did.

Sofiane Zaaboub - 6 - Didn't do much wrong. Put a couple of useful balls in the box and does look quick.

Lukas Jutkiewicz - 6 - Didn't have long to shine but managed to keep his cool and thread through Roberts for his 2nd.

Overall team - 7.5 - A good performance. The balance in the midfield seemed better and probably why 3 goals were scored, although Carlisle did look to attack which left them open for counter-attacks (as were we). I think once Williams has adjusted back to being just a player and the keeper situation is sorted we will have a team capable of beating anyone in this division.

Brownlie apart from his finishing was very good, surprised me actually, especially when he turned their defender and left him in his wake.

Can't agree that Roberts was "awful" until his goal, thought he worked hard.  To be fair to him  if Royce had squared it instead of shooting in the first half Robbio would have had an easy tap in - good positioning.

Nicho had a quality game.  Thought Williams made a couple of uncharacteristic errors forst half, oh and his own goal wasn't the best thingn he's done all season.

Ifil was immense also.

All in all a very impressive performance.  Bring on whoever in the next round (at home please)
