Reading http://scfc.suddenlaunch2.com/index.cgi?board=General&action=display&num=1163349711 it seems Salisbury might need to switch the game if police kick up a fuss. Switching it to Forest isn't acceptable under FA rules anymore so the'd have to play it at the nearest venue (from my understanding) So could/would it be played at the County Ground considering we have a game that weekend ourselves? |

No would be at Oxfords ground, they arent playing  I'd imagine if anything they would try and change it to the City Ground to get more money? Dont think they can do that though. |

Salisbury is closer to Southampton and Bournemouth than us though, so it will be at St.Mary's if it has to be at the closest, and I'd imagine they'd rather it be at Bournemouth's than ours if they can go for a smaller ground.

When they played Millwall in 1982-it was at The Dell,so I'd guess St.Mary's-probably be on the box so on a Sunday

Its going to be played at The Ray Mac, The BBC stipulated that it had to be played at Salisbury or they would not make it the live game . There are 2700 tickets with Forest being allocated 400 . 150 to season ticket holders and probably about 200 to players/sponsors etc . Not much chance of getting one to be honest so i will watch it on the box .

They should play it at their own ground or not at all. Ties like that are what the Cup is all about surely? If you switch the venue it's just not the same.
I was reading that Havant & Waterlooville who played Millwall at Fratton Park were possibly going to have to go into administration because the police bill would be about 60 grand and they would end up losing 15 grand on the day. The FA should help out in those circumstances I would have thought?
