New Car....

..not for me, for my mother-in-law's company car is up...

Punto Grande, Peugeot 207, Renault Clio, VW Polo - gotta be small and cheap. (any other options)

I'm thinking the new Clio is the best bet...

Any opinions?

mini's too expensive - we're looking at list price around 9k.
Mini's are about 12k aren't they?

It's a joint lease deal based on price, so cheap is good.

Out of those cars, the VW Polo is the most reliable and safest bet - probably best for a mother in law.

The Punto is a bit plastically and not the nicest car to drive.  The Clio and 207 are nice, bit fancier than the Polo, but less robust and won't hold their value as well....

For my money, the Polo.  But don't get the 1.0l 55hp version - lacks low down grunt!
