For the first time this season (as far as I am aware) an oppo's manager acknowledges that we might actually be quite good

From the WDP:

"If Swindon do not gain promotion this season, then I am not a very good judge. They are big and strong and the front two are the best that I have seen in this league.

"For the first time in my managerial career I can honestly say we deserved to get beaten. We did not get any real chances, we were in the game up to half time but shot ourselves in the foot by conceding just after the interval. We huffed and puffed but we ran into a brick wall."

Nice to see Cool

A Manager actually giving us some credit!

Peacock and Roberts are the best partnership in this division, no question of that and nice to see it acknowledged.

Robbo and the cock will be a huge asset for us this season.

Cheesy It was also nice to read peacock saying the other day that he's never been so happy at a football as he is at Swindon. Sign him for life I say!

Just seen the goals on SSN.  1st goal quoted as "scrappy" by Lee Peacock. Personally I think he did well to get it in the back of the net from the angle he took it from.

One thing stood out and that was the team celebration after the goals.  No other team in this league celebrated their goals as much as we did.  Showed real team spirit. \ Cheesy /

I think that is refreshing honesty from a football manager... Given football managers usually prefer to blame (in no particular order): the referee, the weather (too hot, too cold, too much rain, pitch too dry, pitch too wet), cheating by the opponents, the congested fixture list, the linesmen, the pitch size, the pitch condition, the fact that they had one eye on the next game, the fact that the previous game was so draining, an injury to a player, the fact that the opponents were lucky... etc. etc.

Nice bit of humble honesty. Good on him
