I believe we will make it 6 wins out of 6 at Chester
I want your babies.
1-1 at Wrexham I'm afraid :? But we'll make up for it by drubbing Franchise FC. I will have to come back to you on the score though

what's she studying at aberystwyth? it's my second choice, sounds like a good uni and a lovely place. shame it's in wales though...
Wales in general is very inbred and strange in my personal experience. I went to Aberthingy once, it was a bit like the land that time forgot. They have a strange cable car kind of thing and a 'camera obscura' which is equally strange. Nice scenery though
And lots of sheep.
And lots of sheepshagers I would imagine.

I'm looking at Swansea at the moment. About as Welsh as I am prepared to go...ie full of English students!
Back to the point, I think we will lose two games in September and people will think we have lost it and will get relegated.
October will see us back on top!

This run if games against the tougher teams in this league is where Ince could prove invaluable.

This is not something that could possibly be proved or disproved, but I feel that Ince, in the forthcoming fixtures, could be the difference between W2 D2 L2 and W4 D1 L1.
The latter being with Ince playing of course.
Just my gut feeling of course

I agree. It is hard to imagine this team losing to anybody!
I think Franchise and Wycombe will be the tough tests, maybe Posh but I'm not convinced

I know what you mean, we seem to be able to just play averagely well and win.
But we will meet some one when they are having a good day and we are having an off day. It will happen.
We only lost 4 games when we won Div 3 in 95/96 and I can still remember them quite clearly now:
Wrexham (A) 3-4. We played ok but were sloppy at the back, they were up for it and played quite well. We threw away a 3-2 lead.
Shrewsbury (H) 0-1. We played ok, missed a load of chances. They had a couple of chances and scored one on the break. The longer the game went on the more ragged we became.
York (A) 0-2. Shaun Taylor missed the game through injury, Eddy Murray stepped in and clearly was out of his depth. We lost a game we would have won at a canter at full strength.
Oxford (A) 0-3. With McMahon out injured we just lost our way. Luckily he managed to steady the ship by bringing in David Preece on loan who was the perfect replacement for McMahon and the rest of the season was a bit of a stroll in the park.
Four defeats, four very different reasons for those defeats. That, as they say, is association football.
