getting rather annoyed now. I have just purchased a new external hard drive and case. I have connected them all up and plugged them in. On the instructions it says it should automaticly give itself a drive letter. but it doesn't. So i though it needs formatting but i can't seem to do this. I have tryed running fdisk and it wont let me. says it can't find it. i need help as it's really annoying me

A. Don't know, it's never been done.
