Shame, I'd have liked to see Sam get on the end of some of his crosses, would have been more dangerous than Adebola.

Still, they've got cash now so it could drive Parkin's value up, hope it goes through early enough for us to have the option of using some cash...

i think most of the cash from O'Hanlon and any from Parkin (if he goes) will be used in January or next summer, especially if we go up or look like going up

What percentage of the sell on fee will we get?

did we have a sell-on clause when we sold parkin? probably not cause we had no bargaining power once they met the minimum fee! and besides, sell-on clauses generally only come into effect when a profit is made on the sale, so if they sold him for £500,000, and we had a 10% sell-on clause, we'd get the princely sum of £5,000 (that's assuming we sold him for £450,000, so £50,000 profit made).

I thought a sell on clause was a percentage of the next sale. It may come into play only when a profit is made but I don't think it would be a percentage of profit but a percentage of the sale.

Can anyone confirm this is how it works? I'm not interested about Parkin, just generally.

If McSheffrey is worth £4million then we should have got about £8 million for parkin :-))(
