It did indeed look awesome.  I may be wrong, but is it the work of triseros?

triseros does the pitch at half-time/full-time on matchdays i believe, you can see him lumbering around like a giant with a big stick

the pitch itself is done by an outside company contracted to the club, marcus cassidy is responsible for the pitch and does a bloody good job as well. lessons were learnt from the elton john aftermath and the pitch looks absolutely gorgeous.

just hope it lasts Cheesy

Why thank you - I think the lumbering lump you were referring to is actually my mate Neil - you can tell it's him 'cos he's the one that's always on the phone staring into space.

I'm the tall, well propotioned, good looking one with a big stick

Hartlepool's was just as nice...

Remember it was the first game of the season so I suppose most pitches should look prestine at the moment.

If it still looks anywhere near as good come Feb time then they'll have done a good job - as I understand it the pitch is built on the same foundations as our play-off season?  Due to funding unless I'm mistaken?

If so, then I expect it to last, but as I say any pitch at the start of the season should look good.

Sorry triseros. Cheesy

It will last the season and will be better than the play off season at the end

Good to hear. The team at times played some nice passing football so that will only help!
