i still think music will never be the same since john peel died.

 Hah...one thing Peel would have wanted was for his fans to know that there's always new stuff happening in different forms, different places.  A lot of old stuff is worthy of treasuring, but there's new stuff which matches up, and there will be other stuff we don't know about waiting to delight.

my concern is that these bands won't get heard or receive the same exposure as they may have done when peel was alive.

mind you, i think lamacq is going to end up taking over that mantle at some point.

I'll agree with you there a bit sonic. Peel was famous for listening to everything anybody sent it to him. I doubt there will be a high profile radio dj/personality who will live up to that.
