failed a drugs test. Tested Positive for Cocaine. Has been suspended for 7 months

  As you say we've had plenty of alkies and fellas convicted for related stuff, but can;t think of too many druggies.....seem to remember Tony Finegan, who had a spell on loan, and played like he was out of his head, got banged up for dealing later on....he's now an agent.

Frank McAvennie is the only one I can think of.  And Chris Hamon got out of his face before playing, but that was on paracetamol.

  Oh yes McAvennie, was a very naughty boy, he wasn't with us for very long and probably doesn't remember too much about it....I don't either.

If your a pro footballer you don't do drugs simple as, too risky. Whats the point in taking illegal drugs anyway, it's pathetic.

Seriously though, it's not like its a performance enhancing drug, just let him get on with it I say.

Yeovil Red did loads of it and he turned out just fine.

it'd probably get rid of it.

what i was getting at is that people take illegal drugs for the same reason as the legal ones (alcohol, nicotine, etc.). the fact that some are legal and some illegal is incidental in the purpose of consuming said drugs.
