so if he keeps playing well and scoring like he is.what will happen when rooney comes back.can anyone see sven dropping owen this may need to be done

I think Owen and Rooney should be the first choice partnership no matter what. They are both ace players.

Only if Owen's not on form and not fit, obviously I rate Crouch but when he's at his best Owen is even better. If Rooney does come back I hope Crouch gets to come on for the last half an hour or so of each game though.

agree owen is class but lets say crouch bangs 4 in group stage and owen has none surely he will have to play crouch,but then you have the other debate will rooney and crouch be good for eachother

i dont care if Crouch scores 7 in the 3 group games id still have Owen & Rooney when Rooney is back

I'm glad Crouch is playing well, it negates the need to bring back Rooney too quickly
