With the lack of any new games that inspire me to get one of the modern consoles and fuck all that makes me want to upgrade my pc, I've taken to retro gaming a bit. There's some proper gems out there which deserve a good play, and although might not have the graphics of the latest xbox360 game, still provide some solid hours of entertainment.

Although to be honest when it get's down to the 8-bit level I find you get fewer 'gems', although a blast through the original zelda and mario3 are still worth it.
