good decision i think, you can't really fault his record since he's been there. all the other prem managers didn't want it to get it because he's supposedly underqualified but i can't see how it matters.

Thought it was harsh sayin he couldnt get the job because of not having his pro liscence...he enrolled on the course bt then got a tumour?! Its not as if he was never intending to get the qualification - somethings in life are bit more important, i.e his health?!

plus, you cant teach good management.

The whole badge system is fucked up...I can understand it from the coaching side....but for a manager....

added to that the thing they keep on going on about is a course, not a test, so its just a matter of him turning up for a couple of weeks and getting the certificate at the end of it.

perhaps they just don't like him!?

I read somewhere that its £8k for the UEFA pro "A licence" course. I might whackit on teh credit card and start applying for premiership jobs Cheesy

you cant, I think you have to be a register ex-pro to go for a UEFA Pro A-Licence

My view: Newcastle have fucked up appointing him. Perhaps he is a stop gap until Shearer is pro-badged up...

Well I think it's a disgrace, he should at least have a blue peter badge or a 10m swimming badge if he wants to manage a premiership club surely.
