My housemate Claire asked me how to roast potatoes once  

What's wrong with that?  I had to do that a couple of months ago....  I knew absolutely nothing when I went to uni, and now, I still know nothing.  My flatmates must hate me, every time I go to cook something I have to ask "how do I do this".  Cooking is not a man's job....
