This consisted of people usually driving a Morris Minor, who would take an elderly aunt or parent out on a Sunday for a pootle around the roads of England. Usually they would stick to the lanes, but would have to drive the main roads to get to them......in the summer the day would be made complete by pulling off the road and setting up the Primus for a brew of tea.
