Title: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Quagmire on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, 09:59:01 Morning chaps,
I did a paid Fantasy Football League last year, and a few on here entered it. Was thinking of doing an exclusive paid league for the TEF only, and a few friends if you’d like to ask them? Would be £10 entry, and I will work out prizes depending on how many entered? Link - https://fantasy.premierleague.com/ Let me know if you are interested…. And I will get it set up with time to spare, send bank details over and we can have a bit of fun during the season. Cheers. Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League and Last Man Standing Leagues Post by: JoeMezz on Friday, July 19, 2024, 08:10:51 Morning chaps, I did a paid Fantasy Football League last year, and a few on here entered it. Was thinking of doing an exclusive paid league for the TEF only, and a few friends if you’d like to ask them? Would be £10 entry, and I will work out prizes depending on how many entered? Link - https://fantasy.premierleague.com/ As well as that, I was also planning on doing a Last Man Standing league. The rules are simple, you pick a premier league team to win each weekend, if they win you are through, if they don’t you are out. You can only pick each team once, and the last person left wins the money. Again - I would do £10 entry and the winner takes all. You can sometimes do this a few times a season as it well vary in length depending on results. Let me know if you are interest in either, or both…. And I will get them set up with time to spare, send back details over and we can have a bit of fun during the season. Cheers. Count me in for Fantasy Football Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League and Last Man Standing Leagues Post by: swindon74 on Friday, July 19, 2024, 11:46:31 I’m also already in a group of 46 people for last man standing, £10 buy in and you can have upto 3 teams bought! There was a rollover last year just shy of £1500. If anyone is keen DM me your number and I’ll add you to the group 👍
Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League and Last Man Standing Leagues Post by: Nemo on Monday, July 22, 2024, 11:13:20 There seems to be an official fantasy EFL game launching, https://fantasy.efl.com/team covering all three leagues.
Anyone interested in that one? (Paid or otherwise) Slightly unusual style, it says "Each week pick 7 players from all EFL matches. Pick a player as many times as you like throughout the season but you can only select a maximum of 2 players from 1 club each gameweek." Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League and Last Man Standing Leagues Post by: Quagmire on Thursday, July 25, 2024, 07:04:25 6 have entered the fantasy league so far, don’t forget to enter your team if you’ve paid (Aud).
Would be good to try and get 10 or more before the seasons up, thanks all that have entered so far. :) Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Quagmire on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, 07:02:59 Just over a week to go till this starts up. 1 or 2 have paid me but not entered the league, so don’t forget to do your team and enter.
I think I have DM’d everyone with league details etc that said they were interested, apologies if I’ve missed you, just give me a nudge. We have 9 paid up so far, so a prize fund of £90 as its stands. Any other takers? £10 entry as I said, link is in the opening post if you want to have a gander. Friends and family welcome to join too if they are interested. Cheers Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Nemo on Sunday, August 11, 2024, 08:53:47 Bit late to it but I'll join if it's still available. Always lose interest in FPL after a week so I'm the perfect mark.

Audrey, don’t forget to enter your team before Friday, you are the only one missing from the league at the moment who’s paid. Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Quagmire on Thursday, August 15, 2024, 17:17:08 Final call everyone, this starts tomorrow tonight if you wanted to join.
Audrey, you still haven’t entered the league and have paid your £10. I’ve tried DMing you so no idea if you are seeing these. Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Audrey on Thursday, August 15, 2024, 17:30:08 I’ve registered on the site but it logs me back out almost immediately. Can’t be arsed to keep trying.

Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Quagmire on Thursday, August 15, 2024, 19:07:36 I'll try and get a team entered/sorted and be in last man standing as well :thumb: I’m not bothering with Last Man Standing mate, only a few were interested. Ahh that's a buggar, unless you can get 5 of us to do LMS for 20 notes each? But if not no worries. I'll still make a fantasy team by tomorrow afternoon. No idea if i'll keep on top of it tbf but all good. Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Nemo on Friday, October 18, 2024, 13:09:08 Have to laugh, I have three Spurs players playing, they're 4-1 up and none of them have scored or assisted

Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Quagmire on Sunday, October 20, 2024, 09:27:10 Very close to getting rid of Haaland and spreading the cash The thing is with that, is one weekend he will get 4 goals and everyone will have him as captain and it instantly puts you on the back foot. Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Pericardinho on Sunday, October 20, 2024, 09:34:38 It also requires you to save up 3-4 transfers to re structure your team. Unless you have Wild Card.
Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: TailBetweenLegs on Sunday, October 20, 2024, 11:31:25 I've gone for it. It's a risk but think having a packed midfield and 2 strikers like Jackson and Watkins may help more in the long term as everyone's going the same team every week
Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Qunk on Sunday, October 20, 2024, 21:54:35 It also requires you to save up 3-4 transfers to re structure your team. Unless you have Wild Card. As far as I’m aware you can only save up a maximum of two transfers. Ended up on 39 this week against an average of (so it says) 32. So pretty pleased. Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Pericardinho on Sunday, October 20, 2024, 22:04:13 As far as I’m aware you can only save up a maximum of two transfers. Ended up on 39 this week against an average of (so it says) 32. So pretty pleased. Not this year. It's 5 now. It's a risk but think having a packed midfield and 2 strikers like Jackson and Watkins may help more in the long term as everyone's going the same team every week You've ditched Haaland the week before they play Soton at home??? Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Qunk on Sunday, October 20, 2024, 22:08:38 Not this year. It's 5 now. Gotcha, didn’t know that! Think I might take advantage of that change. Happy with my team other than struggling to figure out to do with the Norwegian Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Pericardinho on Sunday, October 20, 2024, 22:23:29 Difficult one. I'd be hiding behind the sofa every time City play if I didn't own the robot.
Is it worth the stress? Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: TailBetweenLegs on Monday, October 21, 2024, 09:19:03 You've ditched Haaland the week before they play Soton at home??? I have, i was going to before the Newcastle Fulham and Wolves games too. I have a bit of a buffer in the league so worth risking it in my opinionA midfield of Johnson,Salah,Palmer,Rogers,Mbeumo i think will get more points. Worth the gamble imo Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Nemo on Monday, October 21, 2024, 09:40:43 I've not had Haaland since the start, fat lot of good that's done me.
Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Pericardinho on Monday, October 21, 2024, 14:03:50 I have, i was going to before the Newcastle Fulham and Wolves games too. I have a bit of a buffer in the league so worth risking it in my opinion A midfield of Johnson,Salah,Palmer,Rogers,Mbeumo i think will get more points. Worth the gamble imo I'm not discrediting your strategy. It's just the timing. Surely you wait 1 more week for Haaland to play at home to the worst team in the league. Unless you are afraid of being frozen out on price on other assets. Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: TailBetweenLegs on Monday, October 21, 2024, 15:58:12 I'm not discrediting your strategy. It's just the timing. Surely you wait 1 more week for Haaland to play at home to the worst team in the league. Unless you are afraid of being frozen out on price on other assets. Just going with my gut tbh and realistically you are probably right. Just thought as i had a few transfers available that by moving him out i could get more points potentially from Palmer & Jackson Vs Newcastle and Mbeumo at home to Ipswich. Probably a huge mistake but just think with Haaland as everyone has him you have to take a risk at some point. Title: Re: Paid Fantasy Premier League Post by: Pericardinho on Monday, October 21, 2024, 16:19:25 Mate, if Haaland has another stinker at the weekend you will be a genius for moving off a week early. I hope you are wrong though!
