The core parts for this come to £645 including Windows. A comparable monitor to the free one is £79.

Its using very old core CPU/SSD/Memory and its not the best GPU I wouldnt go less than a 4060ti personally.

But for a cheap system thats not bad, they are getting rid of old stock of course but it will do the job for MSFS and other games for sure.

I would upgrade the SSD though no matter what as thats slow and small at 3,500 read speed and only 1tb but that motherboard wont read more than about 5,000 anyway as its the old chipset.

Many cons but several pros too, without the free monitor I would run away screaming from the deal though as you can get way better deals elsewhere (or made) but for a fully warrantied pretty mild gaming system its not bad.

Also be aware that that chipset motherboard can only support 1 NVME SSD so if you add an extra SSD it will have to be the slower sata one unless you replace the 1tb one with bigger from the off.

IMO - NVME for Windows, standard SATA SSD for games is plenty good enough

Sata is fine for most gaming definately, way better than a spinning drive, my motherboard has 4 NVME slots so I put my gaming drives in them.

TBH the difference between sata ssd and nvme ssd in booting up is almost as big a different as between spinning and sata ssd.

But as you state sata ssd is way better than sata HD though for sure.

Sorry to be a pain, can i plug two monitors in via HDMI? One to the motherboard and one to the graphics card?

Nope if you use multi monitor then they have to be plugged into the same GPU mate not 1 mobo and 1 gpu.

Ah ok, the gpu has one hdmi and 3 displayport adapter i think

I wanted to get this monitor to run alongside the one that comes free with the pc esrlier in the post

https://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/spec/getspec.aspx?n=MONITOR&v=24.5%22%20MSI%20PRO%20MP251%201MS%20100Hz%20FHD%201080P%20HDMI%20%2F%20VGA%20Flat%20IPS%20Monitor%20(Single%20Monitor)

I suppose i will have to get a hdmi to displayport adapter?

Nothing comes up on that link mate, most monitors come with HDMI and displayport connectors these days, unusual if a brand new one doesnt have a display port as well as HDMI, use 1 hdmi and one displayport is fine.

A standard 4060 may struggle playing MS flight sim at anything above average settings on a dual monitor set up tho mate.

Good stuff I am sure you will be happy with it, be worth upgrading the CPU as AMD are bringing out a much much better CPU for the AM4 in a couple of months that will make that as fast as many much newer processors, and work with your existing motherboard and memory (possibly needing a bios update).
