An occasionally fun end to a rarely fun season.

Cain. Outrageous freekick and some filthy mid range passing.

Thought we looked more solid than usual but RHM looked a threat every time he had the ball.

Easy to forget they are the third worst team in the Football League but in the end we stumbled upon a workable defence.

Char had his second best game of the season. Cain scored a goal of the season contender but I'd go for Clayton, looking more like a seasoned defender with each game I reckon

The fans for actually turning up for a dead rubber at the end of a turgid season when we should have been promoted as champions 15 matches ago.

It’s funny, I thought Cain was chasing shadows until we scored. He looked much better second half and seemed to be playing much further forward than I have seen him before.

Cracking support from those that make the effort.
Was in spoons nice and early for breakfast. Year’s time will turn up for a promotional party 👍

I hope so. I’m limiting my appearances to when the DNA is home from Uni and away games where I don’t need a ST to get an away ticket.

seemed to be playing much further forward than I have seen him before.

That is the key. Morris had him more in a holding midfield role.

Just bizarre.

Cain for a wonder goal and for blossoming thereafter.

At halftime, I'd have had Lavinier, closely followed by Khan still ahead of the new Twine.

Yes, Lavinier had a very good first half - was surprised to see him come off with Wakeling (who was also bright until he got injured, seeming in the penalty shout).

The match sponsors pick of Sol Brynn was purely for the meet & greet afterwards I'm guessing.

I hope he got a decent send off, form has not been as good as early season recently, but generally a pretty strong season and played every league minute.

Surprised that so many stuck around after the game to applaud the squad.

A nice magnanimous gesture by the fans.

I think most people think the squad themselves haven't been the main issue. Very few hate figures (if any?) in this squad. Young players with their confidence shot by bad management and lack of experience alongside them.
