One more game to go for the cumulative/game by game MoM Awards, but thought I'd throw up an "over the season" poll as well as it'd be interesting to see how the results compare, and I'll include the much requested "fuck the lot of them" option in this.

The options are the top ten vote winners from the week-by-weeks in position order.

FBT for me. Always shows determination and commitment and seems proud to wear the shirt. Very few sub par performances.

FBT was my vote for broadly the same reasons. I think Hutton is our most important player as an attacking outlet, but FBT is one of very few to enhance their reputation consistently over the season.

Says a depressing and telling story that our most important player as an attacking outlet is our right back.

From those figures I get that Wakeling is the most productive. Involved with 13 goals,followed by Williams and Hutton on 12 each. Then Jephcott and RHM on 8

Those assist figures for Williams are absolutely terrible for a player of his quality

FBT > the rest of them put together

I think Williams quite often says he does the pass before the assist if that makes sense. He's certainly involved in most of our good build up play and has scored plenty, so not going to hammer him vs some of this dross.

(aside: The club have short listed Brynn, Hutton, Wakeling and Willaims!)

I see FBT not even nominated by the Club for their POTY. They make a pig's ear out of literally everything.

Vote panning out much as expected.
Williams and Hutton have made significant contributions in terms of goals and assists but FBT has stood in terms of consistency.
Key player for next season and should be one of the 4 or 5 leaders that the team will need.

Assists can be a bit of a blind stat. Hutton say,beats 3 players down the right,puts in a superb cross which is headed down by FBT and Austin nets. Assist is officially by FBT

FBT by a country mile. Came in as a loanee from Burton and everyone said "what a waste of a loan" and yet he has proved to be very very solid and consistant.

I wonder why FBT wasn't in the list of players of the season provided by the club given the popularity of this poll? (tiny sample size granted)

If he wins the Adver and other Supporters polls it's going to look a bit silly that he wasn't even nominated.

Because the club social media presence is basically that gif of Sideshow Bob stepping on rakes these days.

Why has the club even published a shortlist? Why can’t fans just vote for who they want.

Twitter polls have four options maximum I believe, and they seemingly wanted to do that rather than a proper polling platform.

FBT reminds me of Jay McEveley I have decided, looks and style play.

Says a lot when Gladwin who left in January is still 3rd in the assist table for us

it feels a bit like the shit seasons when a keeper gets it.  FBT for being consistent.  Not great, not top 3 team stand out player type of season, more a Rob Hunt type of season, and for this one that is enough to earn the title.  Honours to Hutton for his ability to create so many Assists while also delivering one of the worst defensive displays of a player in my lifetime (given the level of opposition) and to Gladwin for managing to be in the top 10 despite leaving halfway through a season and the decision to let him go being applauded by many at the time.  Also Austin, who looks likely to end up second top goalscorer after playing a quarter of the season and receiving next to no plaudits.

Spoilers, but he's in the top *five*

Considering that McEveley eventually became the chosen whipping boy/scapegoat for certain parts of the fan base, I am not sure if that's a good thing or not.

Hutton was our only consistently positive progressive threat in the team this year so he has got my vote.  FBT for sure is exactly the right type of player for us and he deserves the recognition he is getting and will be a very welcome and stable part of the team next year, but how we can vote for a defender after the shit show we have watched this year is beyond me - but there you go.

I assuming it's a really subtle dig at the fact Hutton is not and never will be a "Defender".

Exactly, he is not a defender, but he has been our most consistent and productive form of attack.  The last time I looked the idea of football is to score goals - Hutton was the best player at trying to make this happen.

Austin has done more defending than Hutton, and that says it all.

FBT winning 3 out of 4 awards last night.

Very few MOM votes from me for FBT.  I had high expectations of him and tended to pick overperformers.  But he was consistently in the top 3 performers in any given game. So easily my Player of the season.

I see Dan the Fan has done EOS ratings and rated no player lower than a 5, and only three lower than a 6. Out of 10. Not sure that's fully reflecting my feelings!

Take away Jonny’s expectation and name, he wins hands down. People are always wanting more because of where he has been. A standout in a poor side. I will miss watching him play when he’s gone.

100% agree. We won't sign anyone better. I don't normally say this but FACT!

Sol Brynn got the club-run fan's player of the season - the one with the four person shortlist not including FBT (was Brynn, Hutton, Wakeling & Williams).

I mean, isn't the fact that whoever was responsible for putting together the list by the club (assume someone in marketing) couldn't figure out to include the winner of 75% of the end of season awards in their final 4 shortlist something if a visual representation of what is wrong?  It's a little bit farcical.

Sums up the last 12 months really.  All starting with an amateur hour penalty shoot out.

Yeah, FBT had it presented to him at the OSC player awards the other night, albeit Johnny Leighfield did say that they had made an own goal by making the vote only for subscribers, therefore they didn't get my vote and no doubt lots of others.
