A first win for the new boss, not a perfect performance but certainly progress.

Think there'll probably be a few contenders today. For me our brightest period came after FBT came off when Darcy, Wakeling and McEachran combined at a much higher tempo to create chances. Particular credit to Darcy who changed the game coming on as a sub, which is all you can ask, and I think any of the three could be given the MoM. I'll go to Wakeling for his finish, which I'm choosing to believe was 100% intentional!

Darcy. Game changer
Think I agree. More though because he brought balance, rather than because he was outstanding.

Great to see out the win and show some character. Khan should be disciplined if he slapped their player. He is walking a tightrope far too often. Very pleased for Wakeling and Darcy as it sounds like they both did well. At Sutton away I was sat next to Darcy’s brother and we had a good chat. I’m sure their performances will do wonders for both Darcy’s and Wakeling’s confidence. Also nice to hear some loud chants for Tomi which I am sure he would have heard and appreciated.

Important goal. A lot of effort

Unusual for me to disagree with you.

Thought he was awful for the first 20 mins. Then he gave the ball away in the box to leave to players through on Brynn (and they hit the woodwork). He got too carried away with the nigglyness and should have been sent off. Then he blocked and grabbed Barry in the area, which could have resulted in a penalty.

Other than that, yes, he drove us forward and did some good stuff in midfield.

We definitely looked fitter today I thought. Still pressing high towards the end, although a few hairy moments.
Chuffed for Wakeling, but thought that Clayton had a really good game, so mom for me.

A few contenders today but has to be McEachran for me. He's bought a bit of class to the midfield we've been missing.

Had we lost then the post match Jalfrezi might have got the vote.

Nobody stood out, but I'll go Darcy.
Added that extra energy that made the difference in a fine margins game.
Held on to the ball for too long before the goal & then got the luck with the in off.
Box entry with a positive outcome.

Mceachran for me. Gotta Remember he’s had No pre season, not played a game in however many months, to come in the side Mid season, and slot in so easily and look so good says alot about the player he could be under Morris I think.

Thought I'd give Brennan a vote. He did some very good work at times in defence.
