Hutton brilliant and they all played well but Khan was the best player on the pitch.

Lots of good performances, two excellent ones for me - Hutton and Khan - and could vote for either. I'm going Hutton because I think more will go Khan!

Khan for me. Probably the best performance by a Town player this season.

I'm really pleased that Khan reproduced his early season form, but even better.

In a game where the prodical son returned, lead the line well and opened the scoring.

I must admit that I was close to giving it to Austin. In the first half, when they had 11 men, he was superb. If he'd knocked in both of the chances he had in the second half then it would have been a no brainer. I liked Gunning's comments. 'Did well. Not world class. But better than you normally see in L2.'

But, Khan broke up play and drove the team forward. He took his goal well and could have had another too.

Hutton did well too. But

His hold up play was very notable early on. We just haven’t seen very much of it aside from Jephcott, but normally few balls played into the striker(s) this season.

It wasn’t genius, he held the ball, passed it wide, we got crosses in. It doesn’t take magic in this league to make some chances.

Has to be Citizen - Just unplayable today a solid 9/10

Khan bagging one was most deserved and edges my decision between him and Hutton.

Good performances all over the pitch today though is most satisfying.

Khan was fucking unreal. Everywhere. Bossed it.

Data boffins (TM all red top newspapers) have Khan at 9.15/10 for this game, Hutton second on 8.85. Particularly impressive as this automated scoring has *really* not rated Khan up to this point this season (he's been one of our lowest scoring players).

Looking back over the season, both Khan and Hutton score higher in this game than any Town performance so far this season - top of the pops being Williams v Mansfield (8.64) and Sutton (8.34) Wakeling v Rochdale (8.50) and Brynn v Northampton (8.02).

I didn't really notice Brennan today, which is probably a good thing. He did his job. He's been atrocious this season, in my opinion. Fair shout DiV, maybe we do need to judge every player under difference management.

My Grimsby Cousin and his travelling Mates said he tore them a new one.

Lots of candidates.
Khan definitely the pick of the bunch so a lot of players will go unnoticed.
For example, particularly first half they couldn’t handle Wakeling at all.
Probably deserves at least a token vote. Kahn has run away with it, which is fair.

Any reason Grimsby brought so many today? Fair play but they never usually do and they're not doing well.

Seemed a bit random but good turn out.

They have a cracking away following.
Take some serious numbers away from home.

Said to my son before kick off that the MOM would be given to Charlie regardless of what happened in the game so no surprise when he was announced.

Well that's as convincing a MoM vote as I can remember. I hope this really helps him kick on - and doesn't bring in bids we can't refuse this month...

As it stands, the only performances in 'history' (the two seasons you recorded in the spreadsheet) that are a higher % of the overall vote are Wollacott v Salford A last season (85%) and Tomlinson v Exeter (93%) at H last season. Beats Brynn v Orient for this season's highest.

Must say I'm surprised that it's not a bit closer- expected Khan to win but thought Hutton would get more votes than he has.

As for the MOM: I went for Khan, but it was a top notch performance all round, it reminded me a bit of Walsall at home last season.
