Hutton remains our only genuine threat, but he'd be so much better if he had anyone to aim for. As it is, we've signed a bunch of small, talented forwards and then assembled a team to get balls in the box. It's not coherent at all.

Hutton could be a real threat.  However, he only put one cross into the box on the floor (could have been more but don't remember them), which is really our only option for converting crosses.  He keeps trying to put crosses in for headers and is also pretty poor defending still (let their man free who should have scored in the second half).

Gladwin got my nod for at least looking to drive with the ball from time to time.  Nobody else seemed to have that intent.

Gladwin and Hutton decent.

Rest nowhere.

Tempted to vote Iandolo for throwing the ball into the Crewe’s players balls.

Only accurate thing he did all game.

This

Though even while Hutton is playing well, doing nothing wrong, we rarely look like scoring from them

Difficult to tell from only seeing 1/2 a game. But, I wasn't overly impressed with any of them. Hutton breezed past his man, but only put in 1 dangerous cross. Gladwin managed to put the odd cross in too. But, I think we could have played all weekend and not got the ball in the net

Gladwin for me, he worked very hard near the end to try to inspire the team.

No-one! absolute shite.   Too many defenders, too slow and pointless in every way

Gladwin, we’d have been royally fucked without him.

I left at half time and went back to the pub. Hutton was a threat.

blimey, didn't think it was that unlikely we'd get an equaliser.

I mean you were right, but what prompted it at the time

was it more a lack of entertainment thing?

edit: or are you an alcoholic

We could be still playing now and wouldn't have scored. Sometimes you just know.

On the basis of some of these votes there were some pretty impressive cameos!

Missed 20 minutes of the first half but I thought Gladwin probably was our best player over the period of time I saw.

Yep, I left early. It's my fault for buying a 3 ticket bundle.

Didn't see the game so this is just an observation based upon the other thread, much is being made that we don't create very much, yet Gladwin is probably our most creative player and gets MoM?

Definitely more for effort than the footballing side of things on this occasion

Yeah, he was the pick of a poor bunch really. Him and Hutton.

i think people are being slightly generous with the award but for the first 20 minutes he was on fire and rolls roycing around the pitch. after that his involvement dropped off bar a fantastic cross in the 2nd half- i think it may have been the one jeffcot hit the bar with

for that 20 minutes though he did more than anyone else did over 90 except hutton so can see why people voted like that
