Well, that’s not a bad initiative is it?

Seems the timing of the prize is a bit odd. Between March and May 2023? Surely season ticket holders aren't going to want to piss off to Australia during the season will they?

It's when Clem will be in the country

I get that, still think the timing is unusual. Why not do it after the season has finished?

because he will not be there  :) If anyone is not wanting the trip because they are worried they will miss 1 game then i am sure they can give the tickets to someone else or travel after the playoff finals

Aren't we 1000+ short

Good that we are trying of course. But not much time to fill the gaps.

It's a great gesture, just not sure how much of a difference it will make to ST sales. But who knows, maybe there are people out there who thought "I'll only make it to 12-14 games so it's not worth buying a ST", who could be enticed.

I was kinda hoping to come back in time to get a 1/2 ST in the New Year. Looks more likely it’ll have to be a full one for next season now.

League 1 will be more expensive too :)

I’ll be able to purchase an old fogey ST so I may be able to afford to have my heating on for a couple of days a week at least as well!

I bet the club only "officially" make something like 5981 ST sales...

or

Some mysterious and elusive mother with a lad named "Joe" will be the winner...

...tell me again where is the Great Glass Elevator?!  :hmmm:

*It's a joke, it's a joke, it's a mutherfockin' joke... (Done to the tune of 'On A Rope')

Getting to 5k would be a huge achievement which last time i checked we still had 150 to go or in that ball park?

That was a target Fitton set out and we never made it, even under Di Canio.

We're not getting to 6k.

I see Grimsby have sold over 5500 season tickets not bad considering capacity is just over 9000

Definitely not. They should do an initiative this season where they get people to sign up early at £250 on the understanding it's only if we get 6.5k sign up

That was what Fitton did, right? We fell well short from memory.

You're right it did fail but that was quite a long time ago now we seem to have a new/resurgent fanbase where it may work it it was offered again.
