Interestingly those whom I have just alluded to didn’t put two clubs alongside ‘Champions’….. So be a good sport please and delete one of your two relegated bottom teams after all there are no extra points for it. Thanks.

Harrogate Away 1st up

Scott Lindsey's men will end the season at home to Crawley Town on Saturday, May 6 after hosting Walsall on Boxing Day. Swindon will make a long trip east to take on Colchester United on New Year's Day.

Town's first home game will see Salford City travel to the County Ground on Saturday, August 6 while Leyton Orient arrive on August 16 for the first Tuesday night league game of the season.

Swindon's closest away trip - Newport County - comes on Saturday, February 4 while the home game is set to be played on September 10.

Prior to the Crawley game in May, Town end the season with two away games. Fans will experience AFC Wimbledon's new Plough Lane for the first time on Saturday, April 22 before the final away trip of the season comes in the shape of a trip to Crewe Alexandra on Saturday, April 29.

Better than a Tuesday night in November and surely the EFL could stop long trips on New Years Day

It really does. I'll probably be watching the same amount of games on Ifollow as you this season Aud! That said, my dad wants to go again this season so I might make a league game or 2 at the CG. My local game at Northampton is in December when I will possibly/probably be in Ireland, which is of very minor inconvenience.

Barrow away just before Christmas looks nice, at least its a summery trip to Carlisle, and with two games previously should at least have an idea how shit/good we are and whether its worth the trip.

Both Gills games on Saturdays, makes a change from the usual Tuesday night fixtures against them. 

Last time I went there was an opening day 12:00 kick off and we lost 5-0. 😢

Oh gosh I had erased that from my memory! I seem to remember one of our defenders making his debut being played out of position and having an absolute shocker, might have been Scott Cuthbert actually, could be wrong though! Crazy to think that's 13 years ago now!

Wasn't there some other symmetry on the opening day where Colchester beat Norwich 7-1 and Norwich maybe went on to win the league after appointing Colchester's manager? (not sure if Colchester got relegated or not)
