A play off final would be unlikely to phase him now.
Obviously all this does mean he is more likely to move on - and especially if we fail to go up this season. I can’t see many clubs wanting to sign a new goalkeeper knowing he’s going to miss a minimum of a month of the season, add the friendlies etc before and after, he could end up missing a 1/4 of the season.
