Title: Colchester United Tickets
Post by: TheDukeOfBanbury on Sunday, January 16, 2022, 18:38:38
Can now order on line from Colchester direct.
On the Swindon website.
Have patience - what a load of shite and unnecessary complication.

You have to log in, create an account “bubble” pay and then wait for an email.
Evidently get another email 48 hours before kick off confirming your tickets.

On about making things complicated for nothing.

Agreed - it was the most complicated tin pot website I have ever used for buying matchday tickets.
Totally bizarre!

Started reading up on it and gave up as just couldn't be arsed.   What a load of faff, everyone will sit, or more likely stand, where they want anyway.

I will go but will wait until I have the motivation to waste time going through all that crap 4 times to get our 4 tickets.

A couple of Colchester fans in Twitter said it's crap for them too...

and that everyone sits where they want anyway

You don't have to do it 4 times, I bought my 3, it just asks you to put in a bubble number generated by them so you can be gathered as a group. If others decide they want to go later on they put in your bubble number and will be allocated tickets with you. I think it works well, very easy to follow and received my email confirnation response very soon afterwards. Our site is worse as it doesn't allow me to buy tickets at all.

Thanks that's good to know.  The covid pass info made it sound like you each needed an account.

I don't have a problem buying tickets on our site, except when they are restricted so you can only buy 1 each but want to sit together - even with a family season ticket.

High chance of 'plan b' being dropped after 27th anyway. Could all be a load of hassle for nothing.

Is there anything there yet? I remember going to Stadium MK for the first time and there was only Ikea within a half a mile radius. The ASDA didn't even exist. Went back and the ASDA and a few more houses were built filling in the gaps, etc.

First time I went to the new Colchester stadium there was nothing. It was literally in the middle of nowhere. They must have built some stuff over that way now.
