As there's been trouble over the years between the supporters I wouldn't be surprised if they sold home tickets on the day but I may be wrong.

There are people stating that they have been vaccinated etc but are not willing to show proof to Newport stewards as they are very much against health passports. Perhaps I am missing something but what's the big deal? Is this some kind of deep routed belief that if we have health passports then the government are going to know all of our private business etc. Surely the fact we have smart phones and NHS records anyway means the Govt know everything they want and need to anyway.

The NHS app can be a bit of a rigmarole if it gets to the stage of asking for proof of identity if the Covid Pass has been generated too many times, which is a pickle that I got into.

Nevertheless, as Batch said it's not difficult to register a negative test and job done with either the text or email.

In reality, if the events that I've been too that have needed proof of Covid status are anything to go by, then the actual checks are likely to be somewhat less than stringent anyway with just waving the phone at the steward and that's it.

Well, that sucks, one ticket per ST, and can't book my Junior Red nipper with me.

Reading some of the crap that's trafficked on social media, it's easy to think the feeble-minded have taken over the asylum in the UK. It may be little more than a gesture, but over here you have to show your vaccine pass QR code whenever you go to a restaurant and club. It takes two seconds and everyone just does it. And *everyone* wears a mask in public transport and shops. Virtually nobody makes a fuss about it, and virtually no-one cries that their fundamental rights have been trampled. This is in France, mind.

yeah surely the Crawley game will be off. I think only Jonny Williams has been officially called up so far but we could be without 5 again. That said, our squad has proved to be good enough and Crawley are crap so maybe Garner will fancy it.

I wonder if it's worth introducing or training staff (and I am aware there are people who would rather speak to someone on a phone) that can communicate to people using a pop-up chat facility? This would save fans having to pay to make phone calls and hopefully get people's queries cleared up much quicker.

Yes, Season ticket holder,  Still Comes up as 'log in not found'  tried absolutely everything - even phoning the club which is a waste of time. Hopefully will get a reply to my email but not holding my breath.   :crash: :crash:

I was in the Club Shop this morning picking up my Crewe ticket and buying one for Newport. There was a chap next to me wanting to buy a ticket for the Crawley game. The woman serving him said that the tickets haven't been released for sale yet because a decision has yet to be made about whether the game will be postponed due to International call-ups. She said she would phone the chap when a decision had been made.

Anyone still having issues - I can select an area but no cost is shown so i can't select price and pay.

I've just taken a look and can access the site, when I select the game there are no options which suggests it's sold out

I just tried it and was able to select Newport tickets. I didn't complete the purchase as I've already got mine. It's certainly a clunky system, having to link to the ticket site when already logged into the OS, and having to wait sometimes for the selection options to appear. But at least it seems to be working and tickets are still available.  Good luck!

Finally managed to log on and purchase at 12.15 last night, did nothing different, obviously persistance paid off.  Have just tried to log in again and am still getting the ‘no seats available’. Notice again.  Anyway good luck to everyone else still trying and thanks for all the suggestions you gave,  just don’t know what happened or how it all changed,  pretty sure I wouldn’t have stood a chance once they go on general sale at 10am.

How does the system recognise if you're a season ticket holder as it dosen't say anywhere on e logged into account.

This was the issue I was having. Despite being double logged in, the system didn't seem to know I was a ST holder. Not sure it was syncing correctly somehow.

Anyway, ordered online now from the general sale. They've been sent to my old address though so now I'm on hold with the ticket office for 30 mins. I know the club have addressed this, but it really is poor that you can't get through to anybody.

We should be offering a better service than that!

Have you emailed the Club; my Crewe Tickets were late arriving so I contacted them.

They keep a record of the Ticket numbers they sold and advised that I contact them the day before if they hadn't arrived, they would then contact the Home tea (in my case Crewe) and ask them to reprint.

Have to say Vicki Eyles at the club was very helpful, especially when you consider they is heavy demand for away tickets due to our position in the table, and I'm sure Swindon are no different to other clubs in being understaffed in this department (A friend of mine works for Bristol City and number of people in the ticket office is well below pre Covid times.

I suspect the club are probably prioritising the Crawley ticket refunds before sending out the Newport tickets. The game is 9 days away so I wouldn't be getting too concerned just yet.

Ordered mine last Wednesday, arrived yesterday, had no email confirmation at all, just glad it turned up, hope yours arrives ok as it's virtually impossible to speak with anyone at the club.

What's parking like? Weighing up driving vs train shenanigans

Train station about a 10 minute walk,  parking not too bad, plenty of side streets close to the ground but like most other clubs depends on how early you get there.

I’ve used the Friars Walk car park just across the river previously. Very convenient but possibly busy on a Saturday close to Christmas?

Just a heads up to an fans going without tickets to not bother,  There will be no tickets on sale on the day due to our reputation preceeding us having sold out the away allocation.

Yes, you can buy on the day.
Might be standing room only if the train is very busy or a case of getting lucky with finding available seats.
It's only 45 mins but a train full of boyos off to see the rugby will still be a test of endurance.

I always wonder how the train companies are allowed to have passengers standing up when it's a potential safety risk.
