Not bad. Not great. Not quite a team yet.

Critch for me, just edged Reed and Simpson.

Difficult. Critchlow or Reed who both defended and did the dirty stuff well. I'll go Critchlow (despite thinking that some of his distribution (when more than a short pass) was inconsistent)

Noone really stood out for me. Would probably give a '6' all around (although Gladwin's lack of fitness/pace/disinterest would possible knock him down 1/2 a mark) and then 6.5 to Critchlow and Reed.

Reed. Reed and reed in that order.

critchlow was excellent except for a couple of loose balls

gladwin was good except for one loose pass.

Conroy didn't do a lot wrong

Reed today, kept us moving all over the park.
Crichlow second place.

Simpson if only for the last 10 mins when he was everywhere

I thought his final ball today was poor.
Definitely a footballer in there and takes up decent positions.

..although Gladwin's lack of fitness/pace/disinterest would possible knock him down 1/2 a mark..

Maybe a tad harsh on Gladwin based on his efforts yesterday.
He managed to get up a good head of steam late in the game when chasing down a through ball.
Lasted the full 90 and some good interplay with KKH down the right and signs of a good understanding developing there.
Made one good run that ended in a cul-de-sac when he could have released it earlier and caught in possession a couple of times but thought he added some value to the team performance.

Went for Simpson in the end, just for the moment when he lost the ball in the second half which allowed them to break but he chased back and harried until they were forced to go back, a little cameo greatly appreciated in the DRS.

gladwin was the one making quicker passes, mainly at least trying to go forward with them.

he's never going to be blood and guts chase everything and kick em type. he's as bad at heading as Simpson too. we knew this. it won't change

Agree with that, he has got it but doesn't use his brain enough when going forward

I voted for Reed. I also thought Crichlow played well and I was impressed with Gilbert also. It's not quite happening in the final third but we are not that far away in my opinion.

different viewpoints : thought Gilbert worked hard but was ineffective.

just one of those days

critchlow was brilliant but I don't vote for him as had a 5-10 minute spell where he gave the ball away cheaply  in dangerous positions.

Harsh as he was otherwise flawless. But you have to separate him and Reed somehow

I thought Payne had the most positive influence on the game.
