Title: LSPOD Patreon Post by: Costanza on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, 13:03:29 This is something that I've been tremendously reluctant to do for quite some time, never been comfortable asking for money, but I now feel that assistance would be massively appreciated and there are many reasons behind my decision to launch a Patreon.
Funds raised will... - Improving the recording equipment to make the quality of the podcast better - Sponsorship of a Swindon Town player to promote the podcast via matchdays and putting money back into the club in the process - Help to contribute towards hosting fees so all episodes remain available. - Covering the costs for future live events. - To cover costs for player interviews. 99% of the guests do the pod free of charge but this isn't always the case! I also plan to travel to talk to guests face-to-face. Becoming a Patron of the Pod (LSPOPs) will also give you:- - Presale priority for any future live events. - Invitational online social events including exclusive Q&As with special guests and quizzes. - The possibility of recording a 'My XI' or misc episode of the Loathed Strangers. - Plus more depending on how well the Patreon does! I've never formally approached any guest (other than a few joval ones) out 'in the open', like to keep it within email/private messages and somebody like Glenn is a bit I'll keep trying on that front.
