Do you not need a board meeting to vote people out?  I assume they have been too busy with other stuff

I assume that there's still 'director's loans', debentures and all that crud to sort out. Does he stay in place until it's all done and dusted?

Have you tried asking the club/Trust?

Whatever the formalities or reasons, he has no shares in the holding or topco companies and so is powerless (no pun intended).
