I have an old radiator, bbq and microwave.

For the life of me, I cannot remember who used to do it.

There's a Romanian fella who comes around our way most weekends, people just put scrap out for him.

I just googled scrap dealers a cpl of years ago and some bloke turned up when he said took my stuff away no problems. Checked he had the requisite certs first.

This fella has a megaphone or something on his van, usually wakes me up  :). I've spoken to him once when I was working on my car, I said I had nothing for him as I had been to the tip the previous day, he then started nosing in the direction of my garage  :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick:
He was fine, a large happy fella in a vest, looked like the sort of bloke who could dismantle a car without tools :D

when we had an old radiator changed for a newer model I asked the guy that fitted it how to get rid of it and he said to leave it in the street and it would be gone by the hour. I was slightly concerned about leaving an old dusty radiator out as I didn't want the neighbours thinking i'm just leaving crap lying around, but within an hour an old transit van stopped and the radiator was gone.

Fuck me, if you think there's a clique now you should have seen it 15 or so years ago. There ain't a clique now frankly.

Trouble is that if it's a fairly modern radiator (i.e. not like the old fashioned iron ones like we used to have in school classrooms) there is probably so little weight in it you'd be better off just taking it to the local skips. Certainly no weight in a barbeque and a microwave. Now if it was a couple of tons of RSJ's or similar they'd be fighting to get at it.
