Title: Season Tickets
Post by: singingiiiffy on Friday, July 23, 2021, 19:02:55
Well we need a thread soon.

I go to a lot of games generally but considering a season ticket for the first time in probably 16 years. I definitely can't go every week and this is more a gesture purchase for the new look town. If you can't attend a match does the season ticket still allow you to watch the home game on ifollow? Or was that purely down to covid times?

If I can't get to the game a lot of time I still have access to phone/laptop which would make a nice added benefit.

Now we should be back into the stadia. only midweek games will be iFollow.

Whether you will be able to get these for 'free' if you pay for a ST, I do not know, as they normally charge £10, even though we did get them for 'free' last season as it was the only option.

Is that confirmed? As someone who isn't technically abroad but might as well be for the chance I have of getting to the CG regularly, paying £10 a week to watch the games would be a lifeline.

Might have to work out how a VPN works otherwise.

It was said at the start that iFollow would still be allowed in the UK for all games, until 50% capacity was allowed in grounds. I haven't seen anything to suggest this has changed.

Here’s the prices. Reductions.

We want to reward the loyalty of existing season ticket holders and attract plenty more too, so we are offering reduced season ticket prices for all renewals and all new season tickets for the new campaign.

Side stand renewals and new season tickets will be reduced by £30
Town End renewals and new season tickets will be reduced by £20
Concession renewals and season tickets will also be reduced by £20
U21 and U18 renewals and new season tickets will be reduced by £10

I’m not sure I agree with them trying to get us to waive refunds as a £30 reduction doesn’t really feel like a fair reduction. Ultimately we paid £350 for something we didn’t get through no fault of our own last season, I’ll renew but I’ll probably request the refund and don’t think there’s any sense of shame that should be given out for doing so.

The new owner has absolutely zero responsibility or association to last season, so I find it hard to understand why he should take on someone else’s debts.

A lot of respect to him for doing so, mind.

It’s the same company so of course he has responsibility, ultimately like it or not the 20/21 season ticket money probably kept the club in business so I personally don’t feel that £30 is a big enough compromise to avoid claiming the refund.

I’ve no issue with anyone claiming a refund. Why should anyone shame fellow fans for doing so? Our own financial circumstances should dictate what we decide to do.

Fortunately I’m in a position to write off last season’s ST. In previous years I may not have done.

Unfortunately I think last seasons season ticket money is in a swiss bank account .. ! Given the level of debt we have I think the pricing and option of a refund from Clem is excellent.. we just need to all get behind the club. 100% understand people who need the refund due to their circumstances,  but my 2 season ticket monies has been written off for the good of the club this season.

Quote
Therefore, a full refund of any season ticket for last season is available, less the cost of an iFollow membership (£230).

I think it's fair enough under the circumstances.

in normal times I'd be disappointed with the total £10 off all my 3 season tickets. but the club is struggling, so can luckily afford to back Clem as much as I can

That’s all great but ultimately the club is still a privately owned business now by Clem and whereas the owner gets to reduce the level of debt the fans are taken for granted and left with very little to show for it. I still think £30 is a poor compromise and the euphoria of a new owner shouldn’t cloud that judgement.

£100 and offering refunds or instead of offering refunds? Think it's a bit fairer this way where people can have the money back if they need it (mostly) but the club isn't totally screwed either. It's a tough one.

Going back to my original point it’s the tugging at peoples heart strings requesting us to waive the refund that’s my primary issue. It almost makes people feel guilty about getting a refund which I think given the circumstances isn’t really the right way to go about it and will probably see some spending more than they really should be. But that’s just my opinion.

Having paid £700 for our two season tickets, used one set of ifollow codes for £230 & potentially get a £240 refund.

Seems to penalise couples/families.

I suppose it depends on how we view the club at any particular point in time. It’s more community asset than private business for me and so I’m willing (and can afford) to not worry about last season’s season ticket money, nor am I fussed about some kind of public recognition that seemingly presents me as being a better fan than someone who needs to claim a refund. I’m not.

One could argue that anyone who views the football club purely as a private business enterprise shouldn’t be surprised if that business decides to do what it thinks best to protect itself rather than worrying about customer good will.

We bought a family ticket and only used one pass.  Also you were encouraged not the pass the codes on and they actually stopped it half way through the season. There is no reduction on family tickets at all so I do agree with some others that families have been worst hit.

I think what we will end up paying and what we will end up with watching won’t come anywhere near to matching.

I’m gonna get one but it’s gonna be through gritted teeth. Wait till the first goal gets conceded.

Is there no way the club can work out/find out which season tickets used iFollow passes and subtract the difference.

So, if a household has 3 season tickets and they used one pass to watch every game - could one ticket be deducted the difference and the other two be fully refunded.

Of course that opens up the question of should the fans be paying for one iFollow pass if 3/5/47 people are watching it? You wouldn’t buy one ticket at the cinema for a family of three.

*shrugs*

It is doable for sure and yes it has been done before, though in fairness to the club and it’s financial plight, the most pressing issue is to get money in and as much as possible in a short space of time. I suspect that once the rush for season tickets has subsided then it is something that given the new ‘mission statement’ of the club to be open, transparent and genuinely engaging with the fan base be something to present to the club or trust to have a serious look at.

Selling this type of offer brings in cash from those who won't buy a full season ticket.  There will be enough seats to go round.

The flexible 6,8,10 game pass was brought up on twitter yesterday and one of the Trust members said it would be taken away to be discussed with the club. Myself and probably my dad would definitely be interested.

Before anyone gets excited, as I mentioned full season ticket and new applications should be fulfilled first. Then any part ST can be sold. Wouldn’t be helpful if a part time ST just dumped themselves down in a full ST holders seat.

Some confusion may have arisen.  With this arrangement, you would book a seat in the run up to the match, as any punter can do on a match by match basis.  It would not guarantee a set seat.

Maybe there would be a timescale needed to select the game just like any other appointment. If for whatever reason you have to cancel then the seat becomes available again on the website with first come first served

Exactly, I wouldn't expect a set seat. I presume that if I bought say a 6 game flexi pass and I wanted to use it for a game in September say, I assume I'd pick a stand and a seat as if I was a walk up on the game kind of guy. I don't know exactly how it would work but I wouldn't expect my 'own' seat or anything.

I wouldn’t worry to much, personally I think the clubs 6,000 ST target is a tad unrealistic but I do like the positivity involved, I think we will do well to get 4,000. Either way that leaves plenty of seats available.

As a long distance out of towner (170 mile round trip), a 10 game season ticket would be great.

Advantage for STFC is that these could help with club cashflow by attracting an early lump sum commitment.

It could however act as a disincentive to buy a full season ticket for more local fans who struggle to get anywhere near the 23 games.

Being an old fart it works out at £10.86 per game for me, absolute no brainer.
This,  even though I will probably miss 6/7 games a season still a bargain.  Not bothered with one for at least ten seasons but at this price (£250) would be silly not to, must be getting the buzz back.

On sale from 1100 this morning for anyone who can get to the CG in person. Apparently there's a problem with online and tele sales, which they're trying to fix:

Just got my old seat back in the Arkells, two years after Power shut that part of the stand 'to save some money'.

Slighty miffed that I enquired about purchasing a ticket for Saturday's friendly and was told they weren't on sale, at around the same time they tweeted that they were on sale.

I'll just have to pop down again in the next few days instead...

Should be made possible to download tickets to print off at home.

According to the details on the OS, online ST purchases should be possible when/if they sort out the IT gliche but, when I went to the CG to renew mine earlier today, they explained that STs are being emailed to people with a link to download it to your phone (no plastic STs this year). That's not a problem for me, but not sure what the plan is for people who don't have a smart phone.

Was it busy in the ticket office?

When I went at 1130 there were 3 windows open and only about twenty in the queue. When I drove past at 2-30, there were only 5 or 6 in the queue.

When I went there were six of us queuing. Just had the ticket windows open and not the actual shop. I renewed five season tickets for next year. I’m hoping the crowds will come back now lee power has gone. There were some cracking days pre Covid. If ever the club needs its fan base it’s now. COYRs!!

If there are no plastic season tickets to swipe, how does it work if you want someone to use yours when you can’t and it is on YOUR phone and not theirs? Or have I missed something?

Ok, I accept and agree but that does not answer my question regarding a third party using yours when you cannot.

What you are sent is a Link which generates a QR code which you save to either Apple wallet or the Google Pay app. I don’t know enough about QR codes to know if there’s a way of sharing them a third party or what the arrangements are for people who don’t have a smart phone. I guess it will be explained later.

U can share the Qr Code. I’ve got my under 11 and mine on my phone. I have also shared them with my wife so when I can’t got she can go instead and take my little one. There would be an element of trust needed. If you lent it to your friend, they could technically swipe in before you on the next game I believe, unless I have got this wrong.

Also when getting multiple codes you have to be careful. I had the full range of people going. Concessions, adult, under 11 and under 18. Seats, thus QR codes are assigned these designations so I had to make sure I gave the right QR code to the right person. I.e I did not wanna give the concession in our group the under 11 seat said imagine he may get a strange look when scanning in on match days.

Also I think batch is right in that eventually people will be mailed cards.

This week I have renewed season ticket, bought the home & away shirts, booked a service & MOT on the car, renewed vehicle tax and paid HMRC (or Hiding Much Revenue Covertly as some business owners prefer to look at it).
Only two of the above transactions were carried out willingly.

Wonder what the issue is with online ST sales.
Has the database been sold to the Albanian Mafia and the new regime are trying to find a backup.
Can't be that the old regime are claiming IPR on the online ticketing system as that would be a massive misnomer.

Anyway, anything approaching 4,000 ST sales would be very good, anything above that would be excellent.

4,000 would be a good achiement for certain, we normally average around 3,000 plus or minus a few.

Credit status us what is causing the issue with the monthly options

I tried 0330 002 1993 (option 1), that did say someone will be with you shortly, but the message was from just before the FGR match before the first lockdown.

Has anyone been able to get through?

just mentioned in osc thingy with Rob angus

the issue with online/finance is our credit rating is kind of shot, so they want the club to recurve the cash pro rata per game.

naturally the club want the money up front and are negotiating.

I guess this may be why we haven't paid back the 1M to the EFL yet

I'm any case they were expecting the online stuff to go live middle-end of this week

does this cover credit cards as I can’t see how a credit card company would have the resources to do this or is it just the V12 options?

I don't know.. I renewed and used cc. would have used debit if it disadvantages the club

in fact it looks like it's a direct debit option coming this week (3 or 9 months)

Title: Re: Season Tickets

So, it’s the online card payments which is the issue. The card acquirer won’t release the money in one go but only per game which doesn’t help the cash flow. This is why you can’t use card online as most people will.

The finance option will be online later this week.

Edit - Having listening again & looked online I think it’s ticketmaster who will hold back the money & only release game by game. If you pay over the phone etc it goes through the clubs payment terminal & into their bank.

So the bank then, if so, why are they allowing payments over the phone or am I missing something?

Presumably the Card Payment Merchant that Ticketmaster use in that case - Visa/Mastercard do not process the payments, they run the cards.  Merchants like Worldpay would be involved inbetween.

Because you’re paying for the product up front, rather than the card provider paying the club up front before you pay..

So online will have an intermediary before releasing the payment to the club whilst over the phone using the same card it’s straight into the clubs bank? I’m just trying to grasp why you can use your card over the phone/in person whilst not online. They did say that online tickets per game will be okay as that money will be released however for a season ticket “they” want to pro rata the payments. I don’t work in banking & never had so just trying to understand the difference.

If you pay over the phone by CC or Debit card you pay for your match day ticket up front and the club give you the ticket and the bank pay the club less the usual admin fee anywhere between 1-3% typically, then the transaction become YOUR liability not the club or the bank. With a season ticket it is the same only for a larger amount. However, the pay monthly option is classed as a ‘loan’ of sorts. A credit agreement like buying a sofa if you like. The difference being, you get the sofa in one hit and the sofa seller the money in one hit and the liability for the money passes to you because you’ve signed a credit agreement. With the ST the club are not giving you twenty three games up front but a promise to play those games I return for your payments, which in this case goes to the credit facilitator. The club would like as much of your monthly payments up front as possible, understandable so. The credit facilitator has to have a guarantee that they will honour all the matches of your ST before they stump up the money to the club. The situation is what do the loan facilitator give to the club up front? This then comes as I see it under the umbrella of finance and for that you need a credit rating (think sofa) that’s the problem. HTH a bit long winded but the best I could do.

Not sure that is quite right...

Season Ticket payment options:
- phone/at the club - club get the money upfront (assuming different payment provider than online)
- online - club get money every game played (due to payment providers risk appetite and club poor credit history)
- Credit option - 3/9 months payment options available (interest free but for other clubs people get charged £30 arrangement fee) - assuming club get money upfront (or why else would they offer it)

Normal match tickets - regardless of where the are purchased the club get the money straight away

Yes - card processing companies are used, like Worldpay, Square etc.  The business would have an agreement with a Processor not the card provider.  It's likely that the clubs direct relationship with a Merchant has not been affected but that the merchant ticketmaster are using is being more cautious as probably had fingers burned by us.  Ticketmaster have the rights to sell online tickets for us, so we can't bypass them and sell direct if it's online.

Yes, but it won’t. There is a week and a half to go till our first home game. Then there is the day of the home game. Then there is the instalment option which the Legends household is waiting for. Add into the mix the next payday date.

Although I doubt the info is available, it would interesting to see how many season tickets we’ve sold each season over the past 10 years. The PDC season in League 1 especially. I’ll bet it’s not as high as people would think. Prove me wrong kids, prove me wrong.

The only year I remember numbers being regularly pushed out was the Fitton season where they also wanted 6k and offered incentives to get there. Again, think that fell well short, maybe around 4.5k in total? Would assume normal is between 3-4k, but others will know better.

The sausage rolls as you’re well aware are mini ones, the price and only the prices was reduced. I don't think we'll get 6000, happy to be wrong, but I do think we've exceeded what we would have got had power been able to carry on somehow.

Financially it’s better for the club to have a big number of walk ups paying £23 than discounted STs.

Am I right in thinking the club are operating A Kid a Quid scheme for the whole season?

2812... I think that's fantastic for 2-3 weeks of sales. How many did we have in 2019/20?

I think it was between 3,000 & 3,500.

The irony being it was never really made public before, just another thing that we are being more open against.  Also hoping that we go back to announcing how many away fans turn up. We used to do it regularly but stopped doing it in the last L2 season

In some ways it is, if people go to every game but with a ST they get the money up front, which at the moment is probably a bigger issue.

Absolutely it is a great effort, 2,900 inside 2 weeks.

By comparisonour Gassy neighbours and L2 title favourites have only sold around 3,800 since theirs went back in April.

I think if we can beat 4,500 we will be doing really well.

And Mansfield, another highly tipped team have only sold 2,300 so far.

Went to the cricket at Edgbaston on 13th July and got pinged on the 20th!
Three negative tests in the meantime. Just carried on with holiday on Fife Coastal Path.
If you order now, you might get a box of lateral flow tests through in next couple of days and maybe have time to squeeze in a PCR test in before Saturday if necessary.

It's a bit of a moral dilemma.
But people in the vicinity without the app etc will be carrying on as normal.
Best to err on the side of caution though.

Interesting, I only listened up to when Garner left but will try to catch the rest.

It really wouldn’t be a surprise, and I expect there was a few similar shady deals signed off just prior to his exit. I wonder if we are stuck with Dolph’s firm for the security for a start…

I think considering this is all ‘upfront’ money it’s a cracking number to have sold.  Sure, people may have put it on the credit card but that’s still cash in the bank for the club.

I wonder how many we will have sold one the credit option is available

We would also like to update fans who have already purchased Season Tickets, with Season Ticket cards currently being printed.

They will be sent out and will be with you by Saturday. If, for whatever reason, you don't get yours by Saturday's game, you will be issued a replacement ticket to enable you to gain entry into the ground and sit in your Season Ticket seat.

You'd think that most people would want to take a finance option on ST's.

So, if they reached 3k without finance being available, then maybe their target of 6k is not as unrealistic as thought. Granted, I am making quite an assumption about people buying more tickets in finance, but I don't think it's an unreasonable one.

In a normal year possibly, at present a lot of people have a fair bit more liquidity off the back of not spending during various lockdowns which might be inflating the cash up front sales.

Imagine that's the kind of thing that might get pushed out in Spetember or October. In some ways that's a bit late, but by all accounts they've got too many other things to get sorted for this to be a priority in August.

If just selling season tickets was the aim then I feel that would be a good idea, but, I think the main idea is re engaging with the Swindon community as a whole, make the club more in the public eye in the Town and show fans what it has become after so many years of turmoil and shit.

Its great that Clem is such a nice guy and loves all of this, and fair play to him, we have never had an owner like that ever.

Hopefully this is just teh start of the club becoming a true "football club in the community" , something we have always strived for but never even got close.

Yeah it is a bit, but i don’t really see it as being aimed at us. There’s been a lot of damage to the floating/less engaged fan support in the last few years, and so some kind of hard hitting PR drive in the short term is probably needed to ram the message home that things have changed

For all the support the trust got in the summer, membership only rose to a fraction of what we know our support is. Easy to think the fanbase in general is up to speed and on board with the new ownership, but think that might be a misinterpretation

Well Sky Sports News is accompanying him on his tour today, gimmick or not it gets the club positive attention in the media for once.

Agree with both of these, as I said I kind of get it, but just wonder how it would be received on here if that lot up the road were doing same.

Plus the whole standing on the terraces with the fans sets my eyebrows off a bit, brings back shudders of Jed and Mike Ashley.

I got an e ticket version but cannot open in, anyone else had this issue?

Doesn't work for me either. I clicked on the google pay link as I have that, but it's not opening at all.

I had something similar when I renewed mine a couple of weeks ago. In the end, I forwarded the email from my main email account to a separate gmail account that I have. The link from that account to my google pay app then worked OK.

Was at the silverstone Grand Prix this year 140,000 on the Sunday, you need to take precautions depending upon your own circumstances, it is odd being back in a crowd, but having been to Scunthorpe and Cambridge this week, the fear wears off.

I think we know answer to that one. Standard football fan behaviour resulting in a multi page thread containing a lot of finger pointing and laughter.

I find it a bit cringy today but it’s not doing any harm, all part of the charm offensive. Highly doubt it was Clem’s idea and imagine he can’t wait to get it over and done with!

I'm all for what Clem is doing. He's trying to repair the relationship the club has with the town. Lets face it, we've had cunts in charge more often than not and just coming off the back of the worst one of all.

Getting out there and speaking to people is the only way to do it. He almost needs to encounter the people with bad feeling towards the club more than the hardcore fans. We're on board already.

When I first saw this yesterday on twitter I thought it was a bit cringey and naff, but today all I can think of are positives. He's engaging with the people of the town, making them smile again, bringing hope to the club. Absolutely fair play to the club for arranging it, seeing smiling fan faces is good to see.

As someone else said, (possibly JJ) it was on Sky Sports News earlier and is a good news item for once!

I don't see anything tin pot or cringe worthy about what Clem is doing. Quite the contrary; I applaud him for rolling his sleeves up and taking time to get out and engage with new and existing fans . There is a lot of damage to repair and  being visible and taking time to meet people goes a long way towards that. If he can flog a few season tickets along the way then even better.

As Abraham Lincoln (may well not have) said...

You can please some of the people all of time
You can please all of the people some of the time
But you can't please all of the people all of the time...

Whether he said it or not, it's as true today as it was back then...and I'm sure Clem knows it only too well. I don't think you can fault what he's doing personally...

I last had a season ticket in 2013 (unrelated to Power taking charge) and have only been to a handful of games since then. This morning I started thinking about going to the Carlisle game and that has evolved into going to buy a season ticket!

I'll be billy no-mates as I've no idea if anyone I used to go with goes anymore. Sure I'll see some familiar faces though.

Got our tickets for Saturday. The young chap told me after I asked that their hoping to announce something today if not before Saturday, well Rome was not built in a day so let’s say Saturday and be pleasantly surprised if sooner, that if it does not happen before or even before the Tranny game ST on monthly plan will be amended accordingly and to keep ticket receipts for the games that have been played and you’ve paid full price for.

Just wish to check if anyone is aware if the club will get the full money upfront if the finance option is taken.

I was waiting for the finance option to renew, as just prefer to pay for it throughout the season, however if the club doesn’t get all the money upfront I may rethink.

Unfortunately can’t go Saturday due to a family wedding, so haven’t panicked over the delay.

As I understand it they do.  The finance company pay STFC in full, you repay the finance company in instalments.

This was one of the issues Rob Angus was talking about previously, that due to the clubs credit rating if tickets are bought with finance that the club only get the money as games are played.  It could be that it’s taken longer because they have been trying to investigate different options (if there are any)

Title: Re: Season Tickets
Post by: Batch on Friday, August 13, 2021, 09:00:04
I'm sure they are investigating every which option they can.

if not criticise the efforts, and the club obviously want every bum on seat they can get.

but they have been pretty poor keeping the fans notified on the situation given the first 2 games are Saturday and Tuesday. I'm sure there is good reason for that. but it may not be obvious to those that need to make plans

As it has been a popular thing to post wife got ours on line today and printed them off at work. The ticket office was closed today and only open 10-4 tomorrow, honestly, that’s what the notice on the shop door said.

Good work by the club for the reduction in prices too bearing in mind the 2 home games. Means all ST holders are on an even playing field.

I must confess that when I shared the link I had a quick look online, seemed to be very few seats available which suggested either we had sold ST's beyond belief or there was a glitch somewhere. For instance in the DRS there was next to none bar the two blocks nearest the bank....

I think a lot are being held back as untaken STs at the minute, I know my oldest's seat from last year is still unavailable to select even though I've told the club I won't be buying it this year, at least it means I've got a guaranteed seat gap next to me until the end of the month :D

Not that we will ever know, but i wonder how many of that 1000 are people that had them the Wellens year and didnt for the covid year. I had always assumed we had aroun 4k ST's for the last few years. So are there 1000 more usual renewals that haven't happened yet, or is this just a rebound to normal levels.

Attendance at first 2 home games suggest there should be more sales to come. I was very impressed at over 8k on a Tue.

I was wondering. What do you think the attendances would have been if this was another Power season? Forget the boardroom shenanigans - pretend we didn’t know about all the shit.

I reckon over the 2 games we are 5000 up - around the £100,000 mark in takings.

Be good to know what the club budgeted for for this season. Could be an interesting January window!

So wish I could add my name to the list, but unrealistic from Scotland...might make one or two home games, and will certainly be at Hartlepool and Carlisle, and possibly Barrow. Do make a monthly contribution to the Community Foundation, so at least putting a little money where my mouth is.

Scotland-based fans really ought to be able to get iFollow subs. I wonder how much the club is making from remote fans these days. For years I paid for nothing but the occasional game and a bit of merch when I came over. Now I pay 166€ a year - basically half a ST - for iFollow. Add to that £6 a month to the Trust and it feels like I'm doing my bit, while being more closely engaged than ever.

Agree with that. Although dodgy firestick options are actually cheaper, but the club gets no money so shooting people in the foot making them go that route so they don't have the extra cost of a VPN.

If you actually posted that, then I might read it? I'm sure if the worst happens and you don't get anything then you can go to the ticket office before the game, while not ideal you will be able to get into the game.

It might be worth not over reacting to these things...

You were not clear, so don't get on your high horse. Calm down and let the club respond, you will be able to get into the game

There are a lot of absolute clusterfucks that the organisation are trying to get sorted. The season tickets is just one of them.

Around a month ago, we weren't certain that a season ticket would be needed.

Please give them time to get our club back on an even keel. They are working their socks off for us all.

Well it is, it's just not an ideal one. When you look at the problems every single club seem to have had this summer and you look at liverpool and saints fans issues getting theirs i just think his reaction is a bit OTT. I could understand if he was being refused entry due to this but it's not.

Problem is at our level the matchday experience is key to getting people back through the gates and as well as results the ticket buying process and general experience around the ground is all part of the package.

Whilst appreciating people are working hard behind the scenes it is all a bit of a mess at the moment and really needs to be sorted ASAP as getting a ticket to someone is pretty basic. It's also contributing to ridiculous queues to get into the ground with poor printer quality or people unable to use the e-tickets on there phone properly causing hold ups.

Thanks Theakston,  think you’ve summed up perfectly what I have been trying to say all along.  People that have already received their tickets don’t seem to appreciate the aggro involved.  Hopefully will get tickets this week and I do appreciate that a lot of work has been done behind the scenes and appreciate the long hours the ticket office staff have been working to try and sort this problem out.

I’ve not received my card as yet and I’ve no desire to get in a tizzy about it.

I’m lucky in that I don’t live too far away from the CG to give myself time to sort out alternative means of getting in. However, considering the state the club was in just a few weeks ago, I find it hard to understand why anyone can get their knickers in a twist so soon.

Whilst it’s not an ideal situation, it doesn’t feel hard to cut some slack and act like a supporter rather than an entitled customer.

There's a report here from the EFL on season tickets between 11/12 and 15/16. STFC's sales were consistently between 4900 and 5500 in that paeriod, and in 15/16 we had the 7th highest ST sales in League One.

As a measure of where we're currently at, Plymouth were the 3rd highest in L2 with a total of 4113, behind Pompey (11,476) and Luton (5,893).

https://www.efl.com/siteassets/efl-documents/attendance-reports/efl-attendance-report---season-ticket-holders-season-2015-16.pdf

There's probably a more recent report out there but I haven't found it as yet.

Still pretty good though considering that a number of clubs struggle to get 3,000 in total in L2 and in fact a fair few don't even get 2,000...

Decent, but I'm surprised there's not been a bigger jump.

Is there may be a delay or something? Perhaps it takes a couple of days for approval?

Salford have about 600 season ticket holders.

We have more season ticket holders already than home fans in attendance at all of these clubs, taking off away fans from the attendances at these clubs for their last home game played this season in L1 and L2.

Colchester
Crewe
Fleetwood
Gillingham
Wycombe
Carlisle
Exeter
FGR
Harrogate
Hartlepool
Morecambe
Oldham
Rochdale
Salford
Scunthorpe
Stevenage
Walsall
Wimbledon

The following clubs only had between 200 and 250 more home fans than the current 4,100(ish) season ticket holders in their previous home game.

Mansfield
Northampton
Orient
Port Vale

Sutton, Newport have yet to play a home game.

Of all the league 2 clubs the only 3 clubs with more home attendees than we have season ticket holders were Bradford, Rovers and Tranmere.

Nah i think that will be pretty much it now for us in terms of numbers. Hard o know if there has or has not been a jump not knowing how many we had last season i suppose

Have been on the clubs ticketing website, well I think I did. Unless I’m a ‘fucking tool’ 😉 I do not seem to be able to purchase our three ST via the monthly payment plan. Are they actually available? Or as I think only available after the 31/8 renewal cut off? It seemed every way I input two adults and an u18 it was to pay in full upfront.

Just checked and it looked available, you select the tickets when logged in, go to checkout and then it gives you the option to buy, V12 finance.

just out of interest is there a reason why you don't want to? otherwise just screenshot the qr code on your phone and use it on the turnstyle

First game of the season the bloke didn’t scan my QR code, he barely even looked at it. I wonder if they will tighten this up, or it could be very easy to get in with a screenshot from a mate.

For each of the two games so far, the scanner in the DR Stand couldn't read the QR code on my phone and the turnstile person had to scan a paper bar code to let me through. Third time lucky this Saturday?  :hmmm:

I have good old fashioned CASH, bank card and credit card. I find what with those three avenues to emptying my bank account i cahoots with DD & SO I don’t need any more ways to get skint. Will that do?

I’d really like three plastic cards. Because, my Mrs might want to go, in my absence (work related) my son might want to take a cpl of mates if either me and the Mrs can’t or don’t want to go. Bit of a phaff if you ask me.

You will get the plastic cards but in the meantime save yourself all the phaff by pressing print

Not sure I've been shoving the phone under the scanner the right way up and around.  :crash:
A knowing smile from the turnstile oppo each time and they've let me in.

Would be good if the card arrived soon.

I don't use apple pay or google pay but still have the e ticket in my electronic wallet. The pay platforms only allow access to things you put on them so your accounts are safe.

I have been to a couple of NFL and MLB games in the states and they wanted us to upload to codes to our phones. It worked fine, even without internet access at the stadium.

I understand how these things work, however, for me/us the season tickets have to be uber flexible. We have x2 adult & x1 u18. My wife is going to be a occasional attendee, whereas my son and I nearly every game. Which leaves a spare for either an adult or an u18. More likely to be an u18 which would be any number of his mates.. equally he might not be able to come himself so then my Mrs may or may not but I’d still need that extra adult ticket. We could have just gotten x2 adults but for the extra £10 an u18 was a no brainer. He has bought two different mates to the two home games so far. If we have a plastic CC like before they can be kept at home and bought to each game regardless of who comes. For me in my stone age brain cards work so much better.

Don't get me wrong (Go Chrissie Hynde!) I think plastic is better but having the e card as a fall-back until they arrive saves a lot of queueueueueueuing at the ticket office before the game.......

I have passed the email to my Mrs to print e-tickets at work. She’s the IT expert in our house.
