Just been given beer BB 11/19. Should be ok. Worst part - it's pissy fosters. If it was a real beer in a bottle then yes I would say go for it.

How long beer lasts depends on the type of beer and how it is stored. A standard light lager will normally last around 6 months to 2 years after the best before date if kept in the fridge and 6 – 9 months if kept in the cupboard. This is also true for a standard IPA or ale. No one noticed any difference in taste, although we'd had a few by the time we started on them. It was 'Fosters' too. No one had any side effects.
