They have 6 wins, 5 draws and 3 defeats scoring 29 and conceding 20 (including 6 to Spain) in that run. There is no doubt we are harder to beat now but its hardly exciting with 4 1-0 wins and a 0-0 in the last 5 games, unbeaten in 9 and just conceding 1 goal in those games too. In our last 23 games we have won 18 of them, drawing 1 and losing 4 times scoring 64 goals and conceding just 11 times in that run. Thing is the Germans always raise their game as the Scots do against us which makes form go out of the window a bit. I think 1 goal will settle the game or possibly penalties AET. I doubt we will have a better chance of beating them than we have now. We can all see that Gareth likes to set up quite defensively so I think he will go with.... England have been compact but have not really been tested as yet. I'm going to go with an old cliché and say the first goal is critical - whoever has to chase the game, the other team have players that can hurt on the break.
