The last day of the group stages today - after this we'll know the full draw for the knockouts and be able to work out exactly which day we'll be very grumpy.

Group E first at 5pm, Sweden win the group with a win over Poland and means Spain can't finish higher than second whatever they do against Slovakia, in a game where the possession stats are likely to be one sided.

Then Group F, which will decide England's Round of 16 opponents. If France and Germany win, we play Germany. If France and Portugal draw, and Germany win, we play France (please no). If Germany and Portugal win, we play Portugal. If Hungary win, we all laugh for a very long time.

Out of the 3 likelier opponents it’s Portugal for me - although I’ve a sneaky feeling we’d beat Germany, too.

It just depends how much France want to top the group, it is quite feasible that they would draw with Portugal in any case.

I have a feeling Hungary are going to cause a shock tonight. I don't know why

So if we'd have finished second in the group we'd have got Spain. Makes getting Germany or Portugal after winning it a little less painful.

Sweden now reasonably likely as a quarter final for the winner of us/group F second place, then Netherlands in the semi.

Other side of the draw probably has France, Spain, Belgium and Italy.

That was a lot of fun. England v Germany at Wembley, it almost had to be. They're a long way from their best though, we shouldn't be scared of playing them. Might not won, but we definitely can, probably should.

England have home advantage but have played 3 bang average teams. Germany played 2 teams who are among the favourites to win the tournament and playing better teams may serve them better in knock out stages. I make Germany slight favourites but anything can happen.

Key is who scores first, our defence is shoddy and if we have to chase the game, England have quick players to exploit that.
I would expect a change with possibly Emre Can coming into the midfield to add a bit more defensive bite. Also please not Sane again from the start - far too wasteful

It might be worth Southgate turning to his Bundesliga expert Mr Sancho for a place in the starting XI

I was shocked as to how lax in possession the Germans were. Sane and Havertz in particular. Yes the conditions were awful and the Hungarians played out of their skin but Germany certainly are a shadow of their former selves. That's not to say they won't give us a stern test on Tuesday but last night gives hope.

That's the route to the final. Very left side heavy there, Spain v France and Italy v Belgium the likely quarters. Good thing we won the group!

If we can get past Germany, that's one of the 'easiest' routes to the final one could hope for.

Definitely think Germany are a better side to play than either Portugal or France. That said with Kane's poor form and a potentially negative set up from Southgate I'm not overly optimistic of winning the match.
