Their performance was a lot like England’s performance vs Scotland. Technically they were the better side and passed the ball around nicely without any proper penetration.
I’ve been disappointed with the quality of the football so far in the tournament. I guess it’s hard to coach and train players to play a certain way when you don’t manage the players on a weekly basis like at club football. However bang average teams can go deep in tournaments now a days - just look at Wales in euro 2016 and England in the World Cup. Get a favourable draw and have a good defence and you can go deep.
