Yeah I saw this and wondered how we got away with a one game ban - the answer being that the racist bit appears to have been unproven, and the ban is for "abusive behaviour" only. Not particularly impressive that. Obviously Austria v North Macedonia was never a game anyone was going to pay much attention to, but if it had been a higher profile incident you'd think there'd be huge backlash to this. There was some talk pre-match that the card happy ref from Argentina would be all over the shop throwing out cards like confetti at a wedding. Didn't prove to be the case and yet another good refereeing performance, so far so consistent.
