I am organising a Euro 2020 sweepstake.

There are 24 teams.

I am suggesting a £5 entry. Winner will get £50. Runner up £20. The £50 left over will go to the charity Mind.

The draw will be done once all places are filled.  Please pass on to anyone who you think would be interested.  If we do not fill all the spaces then we will not proceed, but you can 'purchase' as many entries as you wish.

The draw will be done online via a generator and will happen on Monday 7th June 10am

Was organising a sweepstake plus instant winner for on here  :doh:

But I don't think people will want to pay for two sweepstakes?! :hmmm: Although the one I was (might still) organising was going to be split between one instant prize draw winner on the eve of the tournament opener (luck of the draw, won't matter which team you have and anyone can win) the rest to two charities (a Cancer charity and the STFC Trust) and then a separate cash winner takes all at the end of the tournament.

The instant win by the way would set you up for the Euros proper with a pack of beers and a replica England Italia 90 shirt up for grabs.

If anyone fancies it, I will create a seperate fred and call it Euro Sweepstake Plus (or something). Same applies, 24 entrants. £10 a pop.

What a drab games tbat was last night and can't help but think it's down to Southgate as you couldn't imagine a Klopp team playing like that friendly or not

but it's like a preseason friendly. You don't go all guns blazing.

It's not just that you had Harry Kane dropping back into is own half looking for the ball which didn't make any sense

Yeah that was quite concerning. You would think we would have enough good players in midfield that would negate Kane needing to come so deep.

That's how I saw it plus Grealish was ineffective playing through the middle and only looked dangerous late on when he was cutting in from the left

Grealish was up and down for me. Won a lot of free kicks in fairly dangerous territory first half but then faded.

I'm confused as to what Jude Bellingham is? Is he a DM?

Same here as I originally thought he played on the wing at Birmingham and last night he didn't produce the sparkle the pundits kept talking about although he never stopped running

Bellingham is, as the kids say, an absolute baller. Box to box-y rather than defensive or attacking, but he could probably do a job if asked to defend more. Sickeningly talented for 17!

And a big unit too. I like the look of him.

I thought that, he seemed to be everywhere last night, his defensive work was immense! Yes for a 17 year old he looks a mighty fine prospect and I don't think you can get much of a better football education than at Dortmund.

It's a shame the ex Dortmund manager wasn't in charge 😀

Bellingham is exactly what we need alongside Rice/Henderson rather than playing both of them. A dynamic CM alongside a CDM. In time I think we'll shift to a 433 with Hendo/Rice in with Bellingham and Mount. Would be dynamite.

Any two of Foden, Sterling, Rashford, Sancho, Greenwood, Grealish etc etc either side of Kane, depending in form. Foden and Rashford first choice if there is such a thing.

I do worry about the centre of defence as I don't think Mings or Cody are international quality If needed

I don't think we have any real international quality CB's tbh, or Gk's - that is my big worry..
