Title: BTCC 2021
Post by: Leggett on Sunday, May 9, 2021, 22:39:09
So glad it's back, some great racing today, and some horrible, horrible crashes. Andy Neate throwing his mechanics and team under the bus blaming a malfunction for him rearending someone metres after the start of race 2 was fucking shameful, even better when the team were telling people there was no mechanical issues with the car, the driver gets called to the stewards office and walks away with points on his racing licence and a £2k fine. He's such a prick, and dangerous with it.

I missed that this started yesterday - have setup the highlights for Saturday (can't find a replay anywhere else).  Thanks for the heads up.

When is the next round?  2 weeks?

BTCC isnt the same without Hamish Irvine in his battered Peugeot 405, and Ian Heward competing in a 1993 Cavalier in the 1997 season.

Yeah, it's not available on Sky. Only via the ITVhub website as far as I can see.

The Ian Flux 405 with the neon pink/red headlight strips, and his team mate with the neon yellow ones... Gutted I never got to own one as a grown up!

Not watched it since Rickard Rydell was driving around in a Volvo estate.

My mate had a 405 Mi16 which spent more time in the garage than on the road!
