Hello all,

I've arranged a charity game between podcasters, Town staff and ex-players. This year it's in aid of Prospect Hospice as selected by Alan McLoughlin and family.

This is the first of what is hoped to be an annual event with fans attending from next year (hopefully!)

You don't need me to tell you how much Alan Mac has given to Swindon Town as a player and coach.

Any donations would be tremendously welcome.

Huge thanks to Rich as well as Danny Lee and Steve Hooper at the club who have been super supportive in getting this game up and running. Credit to all the ex Town players too, some of whom are travelling decent distances, to get back out at The CG again...

Must be no small effort from the guys at the club considering both COVID and the general situation between club leadership and fans right now. Well done them, hope it raises plenty.

Fucking brilliant - donation made, and great charity to support (I fucking hated my mother in law but by crikey did the Prospect do an amazing job in her last days).

Might have missed somethinng but will this be "watchable" (TBH would be amazed if it is in the current siutuation so apologies for asking if a cuntish queastion)

I'm planning to stream it live on YouTube. Only tech will let us down.

Whether the actual game will be watchable is another question altogether...

Rather suspect that the more recently retired (and not through injury) Wellens and Hunt might be a class above the likes of Conor and Dave.

It was our pleasure to donate to such a worthy cause and I am sure everyone of us who donated feels exactly the same way, I wish I could have donated more than a tenner but it all helps.

At least Alan was still with us for this event that was organised by yourself and Chris Tanner.

I have several mates that are well in the supporters club loops at Southampton and Portsmouth I will get them sharing it too.
