So, the 49ers are certainly not making it any time soon.

Given this years one is just up the road from me I thought I'd look to see how much you'd need to stump up for a seat, especially as I have used those seats already for Atlanta Utd games.  $3,400+ for tickets!!!!!!  Who the fuck can afford to watch the game live, even through official channels, the lowest price is $950 this year.  For $3,500 ish you can get official hospitality.

Looks like it will be a lifetime of watching on the box.  Might have to try and get to a Falcons game next season and hope the 49ers have found a defence, and an offence.

Anyone have a team in the play offs?  I sort of hope the Chiefs win, but their defence is probably not good enough for one off games with pressure.

Son is a huge fan and thinks Chiefs are the team this year. I agree with RobertT about 'D' being most important during the playoffs. So that would point towards Ravens, Bears or Chargers. However, I wouldn't bet against the Pats again (even though they have been poor this year).

Saints vs Chiefs after a repeat of Saint vs Rams would be awesome!

Always had a soft spot for the Houston Oilers.
Mainly because they were useless in the early to mid 80's and some of fans used to wear paper bags over their heads at games.
Keep an eye out on how the Titans do and also the Texans who have just lost in the play offs.

Me neither until this season, and got back into it.  Form, and the story would be the Colts, but it will probably be the Patriots.

The best teams to watch at the moment are without doubt, the Chiefs from the AFC (their D may not be the best but it's a case of 'you score 40 and we'll score 50') and the Rams/Saints from the NFC (can't really separate them).

I wouldn't be shocked if none of those teams made the Superbowl though (although a little surprised), such is the unpredictable nature of the Play Offs. And of course you should never EVER write off those Patriots, even when they're not necessarily at their best.

The Rams v Chiefs game a few weeks ago has to be a candidate for the best game ever. I certainly don't remember seeing a better one. A rare occasion where the Chiefs got out-scored...(54-51, insane)

Eagles fan (since 2013 - Sam Bradford, mark Sanchez, chip kelly - not a bandwagoner!) play offs is wide open. I don’t have faith enough in Andy Reid that the chiefs won’t end up getting in their own way - I think either Patriots (history/belicheck) or ravens (form/defence) get there from the afc

Nfc is anybodies - Although I’d put saints as favourites due to being at home throughout. Don’t fancy the rams - they’ve lost all of the big season defining games they’ve played these last two years

Whacked some money on the Chiefs after their first quarter of the season, so would like to see them win.

Ravens are my team - so would obviously be happy with a Ravens win but can’t see them getting past the chargers.

I'm pretty apathetic about who wins as long as it's not the Pats.
Any of Rams, Saints or KC in the final would be good to watch on their offences alone.

That said I'm a bengals fan, I'll continue to be amazed at QB's not choking in the playoffs

I think the Ravens stack up well against the Bolts.  A Ravens win wouldn't surprise me at all.

Might be doing the Ravens a bit of a disservice but the last numbers of season they’ve felt very much a middle of the road team that could quite easily have a winning or losing season based on very fine margins.

Also think we’ve had a winning season based on Lamar Jackson’s air of unpredictability. Might be unfair to say teams will ‘figure him out’ but I do think they will find better ways to defend against him.

That type of QB doesn’t tend to have long term success. RGIII & Tim Tebow recent example. Jackson might not go their way but also think there is a chance he might.

Having watched some of their games, the Saints should probably win.  Those pesky Eagles squeezed in again though.  So long as it's not the Patriots, and could do with the LA teams keeping up their usual standards of avoiding winning much of anything.

Used to watch NFL a lot 15-20 years ago or so. Follow the Eagles due to my dads side of the family residing there. Used to be a massive McNabb fan. I still have the jersey, though probably doesn't fit any more :-)
Started following it again a little bit a couple of years ago and with the Eagles Superbowl win last season i thought i'd see how things fared this season.

Eagles have hardly set the division on fire this season and were luck to even get a wild card but hey, cant complain.
Last nights win was messy and were very lucky with the last gasp FG miss. Very unlucky for the bears kicker.

We should lose against the Saints, but then again, Saints in the post-season is anyone's guess.

True. I stopped watching in the 4th after both teams had possession once the Saints had taken the lead. Eagles defensive line looked out on their feet, probably due to injuries and being kept on the field for a 19 play 112 yard touchdown drive.

An unbelievably bad refereeing  decision undoubtedly cost the Saints the game. My other half is a Pats fan so unlike most neutrals I do tend to root for them. I really wanted the Chiefs to beat them though, as I do the Rams. The NFL really needs a Rams Superbowl win...

Won't be bothering with the Superbowl this year, yet again the refs cock up, I feel for the Saints, I hope the Rams can win it but yet again the Pats get the rub of the green. Ugh.

In a sport that is designed with parity in mind, wage caps, draft etc it’s incredible what the Pats have done in the past 15-20 years. Best QB/HC combo in history, no doubt in my mind.

Yeah, better than it was when you could win with a field goal on the first possession and it is actually quite hard to get a TD on the first possession but I do agree nonetheless...

The two best teams over the course of the season have been the Rams and the Chiefs, it would have been great to see that match up as the Superbowl.  Kudos to the Patriots though, they always seem to pull it out of the bag when it matters.

A shame that the Chiefs didn't get there, and a shame about the bad call in the Rams game, but shit happens.

I've sort of turned around a bit on the pats. I watched the bbc show the other night and they said Brady was draft pick 190 or the like, coupling the fact they were turd before BB took over and picked Brady sort of made me change my mind. Apart from Go Rams..

Dull game. Yeah I know people enjoy defensive games, and I usually do too... but not at 2 AM. Rams offence was terrible, I never felt confident whenever they had the ball which wasn't often anyway. Goff stunk the place out.

Hard to argue against Brady being the GOAT no matter what your opinion is of him & the pats.

Agree with all that, definitely prefer a defensive battle to end to end scoring but that was a hard watch.
