Title: HOW TO: Embed images in posts (for idiots) Post by: Samdy Gray on Thursday, May 19, 2016, 12:17:53 1) Find an image you like. If using Google image search, make sure you've opened the image in it's own tab as shown:
(http://i.imgur.com/QnhkHxO.jpg) 2) Right click the image and select 'Copy image address' (works in Chrome): (http://i.imgur.com/E4cph4z.jpg) 3) To insert into a post, first hit reply: (http://i.imgur.com/gULDSN9.jpg) 4) Then hit the little picture icon as shown: (http://i.imgur.com/yZ8w0nO.jpg) 5) This puts image tags into your post: (http://i.imgur.com/dLcJVUc.jpg) 6) Put your cursor in the middle of the two tags and right click, paste the copied image link: (http://i.imgur.com/SnxTl3L.jpg) 7) Hit post. You're done. 8) Once you become pro, you can just type [img][/img] into the quick reply box and paste in the link avoiding steps 3) to 7). Go to 'new post' in the top left-hand corner and drop the gif in the box. Click the ellipses next to 'copy link', get share links, and copy the BBcode link. Paste the link in here - job done.
